Kefka pushed against the barrier with all his might, but couldn't break through it. He then wanted to cast Break on Grace, but found that that paticular spell was still in cooldown.
Going for the next best things Kefka cast Dispel to remove the barrier.
As Kefka walked into the infirmary once again, he cast a Stop spell at Grace. By this time, the effects of his Vanish spell had come to a end.
Seeing as how Mu was both strapped and chained to the bed, Kefka had to come up with something as simply cutting the binds wouldn't do and removing the chain would take too much time.

Gerry ran into the med-bay and tackled Kefka to the ground, then attempted to stab him with his knife.

OOC: The difference between OP and stupid powerful is OP, to me, is a character that can KO you in one hit and will constantly do that. A stupidly powerful character is one that can fight and fight and fight with no real effect to them. Kefka, it would seem to me, is just as powerful now as he was at the beginning of this, very long and brutal, fight. That does not sit right with me.
OoC @Outis: I actually nerved him quite a bit. I'm nit having him use Doom, Ultima and Heartless Angel for instance.
Although I suppose you're right about the fact that he fought on for too long without getting tired.
@Slenn: Unless I'm sorely mistaken, his back was paralyzed, not his entire body.
Kefka fell to the ground when Gerry snuk up on him and stabbed him in the back once again. Now cornered, Kefka had too think quickly.
He decided to make use of the energy he had gather earlier and cast Meteor. A meteorite, roughly the size of a small boulder tore through the hull of the ship, leaving a hole just large enough to walked through.
Kefka gave Gerry a head butt, knocking the boy of off him, then crawled through the hole.
Once outside, Kefka got to his feet and summoned Palidor. A large bird that vageuly resembled a pelican swoop down and lifted Kefka off the ground, then flew off, back to Brasilia.
I'll get my toy back next time...

OoC: @Outis Sorry, I read such comments as automatic statements of OP. It's the implication MOST of the time.
To be fair, we've all been healed and most of us avoided most every attack, taking no damage. You can levee that same complaint at a lot of people. About the only people that allowed their characters to take any damage were @Nail, @Drak, and myself.
@Slenn Agreed, but all things considered, it's not much of a concern. While I did raise my eyebrows at that, I'm willing to overlook it, in this case. Mostly just because he was a villain and working largely outnumbered at that point.

Winter tries reaching out her right arm towards the medbay exit. "[sub][sub]Gwen... Four... I... no...uuuhhhh[sub]hhh....[/sub][/sub][/sub]"
Winter's eyes become dulled as her arms dangle near lifelessly on the edges of the medbay bed. She passed out into a coma as did Austin.
Their dog tags glow a dull orange light as it read...
