OOC: Yeah, you made good points @Salt. To counter that, Grace had a very intense fight with Anger and used her magic a lot. After that fight, which was actually quite short, I had her pass out. That's just how I try to manage the character.
Joe walked up to Riou and coughed up some more soot. "Well I'm well done... Lightning kinda does that I guess..." Joe said as he cleaned his goggles.
Riou looks at Joe. "Lightning? I suppose I could give you a charge with some magic... Not sure if that would work or just hurt you, though." Riou said to Joe, he sat down on an empty bed to rest.
OoC: @Outis Okay, I don't think we're actually arguing, then. Just making some points.
Also, I think kind of thing kind of depends on the situation. Remember Rockbird? How many times did we fight without a rest? I think larger fights can be excused from certain things. Otherwise, the group should have been exhausted by the time they fought Ikaros.

When Grace could move again, she went to make sure Gerry was okay. He had a bit of a headache, but was fine. She checked on Winter and Austin and found they were comatose. She was in no condition to do anything about that now. Finally, she checked that Noel was still on the bed.

"Oh, you misunderstand, I think. I was suggesting hitting you with a lightning spell, since you had expended lightning. I thought you might have a certain charge or something. I could use my healing spells, but I think that might be unneeded, if you'll be fine with a little rest." Riou clarified.
"Oh... no that would hurt..." Joe winced a little at the thought. "Well it's not really lightning per say more that it's energy." Joe said as he raised his hand and produced a small crackling spark.
"One universe I explored had a very similar phenomena but I could never quite get mine to work with all their stuff, but it did teach me a little better control of it. No I'll be better if I get some rest though."

Four woke up and sighed, noticing she was alone in her bed once again. She got up and got dressed, not realizing what time it was. Then she started wandering around the ship. She walked by the med-bay and noticed that the door was only half intact, and that there was a big hole in the hull. She groaned and said, "I take one little..." She paused to look at her watch. "12-hour long nap, and apparently all hell breaks loose."
"Oh... no Kefka hit me with Lightning... it rather hurt actually." Joe stated.
"Well in this universe they called them 'Dying Will Flames', there were quite a few different types including the green lightning one that I have. Let's see... There was Sky, sun, storm, lightning, rain, cloud, and mist flames... and then there was the earth, swamp, forest, glacier, mountain, desert and... can't remember the last one."
"Each person usually had their own separate type, and they would be able to ignite rings that they would wear with these flames. Then they would stick the ring into this cube thing and out would come a tool or an animal or something that corresponded to what the flame was that was used. I couldn't get any of the boxes to open, nor could I get the rings to work either. But igniting the flames takes resolve, and other things depending on who you ask, which did help me better manage my powers." Joe tried to explain.
