AEanna went as far as the water's edge, where it gently lapped against the shore, forming small patterns in the shingle and then obliterating them in the next swash. Lazily watching the repetitive process and enjoying the sun, AEanna raised her hand, focusing on a larger ovoid cobble worn smooth by the water. It raised itself slowly and silently into the air, hovering before her eyes, and began to spin rapidly before suddenly launching itself out over the water. She smiled as it skipped across the surface three or four times before sinking, but as it went down, she was suddenly startled by a distant roar and searched around wildly for the source.
