"Then why didn't you?" James asked, standing wit his legs apart and arms behind his back in a parade rest stance, his hard eyes fixed on Daniel.

Matthew already drank the shape "Eh I've had worse. And how would I know if it did that if I hadn't drank it. Than again one time I drank juice from a poison berry before. Amazingly I didn't get poisoned"

"I have my reasons, I don't like them but I do my best." Daniel said. He unfolded his arms with a slight chuckle. "Tell me the last time anything went to plan?"
Riou chuckles and smiles. "Like I said, you misunderstood, or I didn't explain it properly. There are 27 True Runes. They govern my world and choose their own bearers."
He holds up his right hand to reveal the Bright Shield Rune. "Such as this Rune. My Bright Shield Rune. They are the ones with a conscious."
He puts his hand down and raises his left hand to reveal the Thunder Rune, again. "Then there are other basic Runes. They are no conscious or anything. They are nothing but tools. They maybe children of True Runes, but they are little more than gifts to humans and other sentient species. Sometimes a person can't use a Rune, for one reason or another, but that is more about the person than the Rune. That is what I meant."
He puts his hand down. "Does that make sense?"

AEanna noticed that Erica was staying out of the conversation and sidled over to her.
"It has been a wonderful day, but I am afraid I must return to Skyrim. I have delayed for too long." she whispered.

"I had a plan." Daniel began. "It didn't work. You'd not think it was hard but in this world being a Dragon can become a problem."
EMily thought for a bit. <color=blue>"Hmmmmm... I think that does make sense. I'm trying to find an analogy. But I think the best one I know is that life is only a mass of chemicals that has risen into consciousness once it becomes complex enough. The runes sound fascinating."
