Austin sighed happily as he turned to Winona. "Yeah. We found him during a recon mission. He just suddenly popped out of a Void portal, scared and all alone. So we simply took him in."

Winter looks away. So... they are sending out Amy Xi soon... The Cheerful Sniper, AX00.

"Thank you. Sorry to be a bother." Riou says to Sara. He gets up and walks into the ship. "Anyway, I think I'll go on inside for a bit."

Jowy shrugs. "Thank you for the meal." He stands. "I'm just going to go have a glass of wine."

OoC: I'll probably lurk for a bit as I play a game.

(To Heavy: Could you leave me in Erica's room please? I'm gonna sleep now.)

"Now I feel sad..." he says.

Grace brought Four to her room and laid her on the bed within. She then decided to sit and read.

Winter nods at the girls and takes out her Sun Tzu The Art of War book and starts reading.

Austin takes out novel, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and starts reading that as well.

Dio walked inside and got into bed, then fell asleep.

Grace put her book away and went to wake Gerry up. She was finally going to have that talk with him.

Grace carefully took Gerry out of Asha's room and to a part of the ship so they could speak alone, then woke him up. "I need to speak to you about something." Grace started as she held Gerry in her lap.

"[sub]...What is it?[/sub]" Gerry asked as he looked up at her.

Grace frowns before she says anything else. "I...I know we have talked about this before, but I want to make sure you understand that we will not be able to stay with this group forever. In fact, at this rate, we will be able to enact the plan quite soon...I am sure I do not need to explain what that will mean for you and I." she said gravely.

Gerry tried to simply give a solemn nod, but ended breaking down into tears. Grace hugged him close to her chest as he wept. "[sub][sub]But...Asha...[/sub][/sub]" he feebly protested.

"I know. I know." Grace said as she stoked the boy's head. "I know it will be painful and hard to bear, but you also know that there is not much choice, for either of us. When the time comes, we must act, yes?" she said in a comforting manner. He nodded again. "Thank you Gerry. You know I cannot impart to you how much this means to me." she said quietly as she hugged him tightly, some tears coming to her own eyes.

They stayed like this for a time, keeping each other in a tender embrace, drawing comfort from each other.
