Thank you....For at least hearing me out....I thought you lot....were going to kill....
She said in a low tone as she laid down.

Riou stopped and looked at Rose, standing in the doorway. "Have you heard me talk about General Kiba? He was a great man. A truer ally I never had, and devoted to our cause. He even led an assault on a rather useless fort just to distract the enemy and even died in that battle. I respected him, and he respected me. He was also the former general of the Highland 3rd Army. He had been my enemy and a powerful enemy he was. But he became an ally, as well. A man I could depend on with my life."

"So you'd prefer to give her a chance to get better and give her the opportunity to start planting knives in our backs instead of neutralizing her while we can?" Rose said to Erica. A flaming branch landed next to her foot and she yelped as she hopped away from it. "Why is the forest on fire?!" She shouted.

OoC: @Drak This might be a small plot hole, but.... Shouldn't Rose of all people know that Valentine wanted to join the group?

The Pyro heard the excalmitaon of the forest being on fire. He slunked away to somewhere else. He brought himself a sandwich

"Did you hear her scream in that machine? Did that soun lik--" Erica was interupted mid-sentance when she heard Rose mention the forest fire. "That's not good!"

Daniel swooped lower, he didn't know if it was safe to come here but he had to know for sure if his father was here.

The sisters joined hands to create their atomic laser cooler to freeze the air around them to cool off the hot glowing air that was the flames (as well as condense water vapor into water to suppress the flames.)

"But that man could have easily just been waiting to back-stab you. Just because he didn't, doesn't mean that woman isn't planning on doing it right now." Rose said to Riou. Then she ran inside the ship to get shelter.

@Salty: In Rose's mind the last person you want to trust is the one willing to switch sides. After all, what's to stop Valentine from changing her mind and wanting to go back to being an evil person again?

Medic and Heavy just stare as the exit the ship.

Can you untie me now?....this is most uncomfortable....

The Pyro went outside. Mildly sad that the pretty flames went away. He turned off his flamethrower and mumbled something sadly

Makoto, who was also watching Val in the med-bay, sympathized with her, but also had to admit she had to be treated like an enemy for now.

"He and his son, Klaus, both refused to join us until they learned their king had been assassinated by Luca Blight. Luca killed his own father. Once they learned that, they asked to join. And his son served me even after his father's death. They were quite loyal. Why are you so afraid of betrayal?" Riou said, walking into the ship, both to continue the discussion and check on Valentine.
"Hold your horses, Grace. I'm on the way."

Heavy and Medic see Pyro, and medic nudges Heavy, then heavy medic. They both slowly walk back into the ship.

Erica blew a sigh of relief when she saw the sisters dealing with the flames. Still, she ran into the shp, just to be on the safe side.

Daniel slowed down as he appraoched the city.

Daniel could hear a loud whistle, but it felt like it was being delivered directly into his head instead of him hearing it. It felt as if it were pulling him to a building near the barrier sphere.

"I'm being realistic. What's to stop this woman from, at any time, just deciding to use her mind-control trick to force us to kill one another? Or any number of other things she could do. What reason do I have to trust her?" Rose said to Riou as she followed him.

@Rosh: Just because she won't be accepted back with the League of Evil doesn't mean she can't decide to just do freelance villainy.
@Ven: Yep.
