Amy could see a man waving back to her, as he looked up from the telescope that had been set up.

The pile of jewelry, with some gold on it, was placed on the runway where it shone brightly in the sun.

Amy frowns and sighs. I'll tell the others when they wake up...

Austin starts cooking up the snake as Winter exits the ship, cleaned and ready. She joins Austin.

A glint caught Daniel's eye almost immedietly. His eyes widened at the possibility and he went to investigate. Drawing near he noticed what the glint was and swiftly descended towards the pile of gold. Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! He let out a breif roar of excitement.

 

[Kirke]

The men on the other side of the lake seem to be eating, though the man by the telescope keeps observing the group.

Dio dons his armour and walks outside.

Soldiers stand at a distance from the pile, cautiosly looking at Daniel as he speeded towards them.
"Hold there, dragon!"
George shouted while placing himself between Daniel and the pile.

With another roar Daniel skidded as he landed, his eyes seemingly reflecting the glint of the pile. He couldn't keep still even on the ground. Mine! Move! Saw it first! He snarled slightly and his wings shuddered as he tucked them in while his tail flicked now and again. Nearly hit you idiot! Move! I'm a Dragon! Out of the way! He snarled with greater intensity.

 

[Kirke]

"There is enough firepower aimed at you this very moment to blast you to bits. However, that pile can become yours, for a price."
He said calmly while soldiers took out rocket launchers and aimed at Daniel.
"Are you capable of speaking?"

Daniel may have told some of his true nature but he wasn't going to make it a habit. His throat rumbled as he suppressed a growl. Glancing at the soldiers he realised he had gotten himself in another mess but was thankful that none of them bore Silver weaponary. Rockets and missles he could outrun and take the brunt of but Silver was a metal of magic just as he was a creature of magic. He didn't want a fight however and so folded the smaller vestigil wings that ran along the bottom of his neck which usually flared when he was threatened. He shook his head at the question. A small mournful growl came from him. Would he ever not be dragged into stuff like this?

 

[Kirke]

"We have observed you for some time. You have some contact with a group camping at a lake, correct?"

Daniel bowed his head. He shuffeld idily on the spot occasionally sparing glances at the soldier around him.

 

[Kirke]

"Of course. Now, what you need to do to get this pile is quite simple. Just spy on them. Make a file on every member, detailing their combat capabilites and personality. You'll get one of these for every file."
He said while taking up a gold bar.

Spying again? Daniel reared onto hind legs, wings unfurling and stretch to full as he took in a great breath. He returned to the floor after his stretch and looked at the pile. A file? How can a Dragon write a file? Nevermind I'll do it later, away from everyone. Must. Have. Gold! He could simply recycle the information he gave to the other person that held sway over him and he should be about 4 Gold Bars richer. He bowed his head again.

 

[Kirke]

"I take that as a yes? Remember, you can become quite rich, as there are many members of the group."

Daniel snarled, angry at his own nature. He unfurled his wings to take off. He eyed George as he did so. He snarled again and leapt into the air. He'd have to remember all the earlier information he had gathered. This time it was differant. The man hadn't stated his intentions and Daniel had no personal reason for this...aside for an exponentiol growth in the size of his hoard. Just thinking about sleeping atop a pile of valubles returned his excitement from earlier as he flew away.

 

[Kirke]

George made a slight smile as Daniel flew off.
"Such a simple creature to snare."
The soldiers began packing the pile back on the jeep.

The soldier on the telescope wrote a message on a scroll of paper, then held up for Amy to see.

Amy hopped down from her perch and walked over to Austin and Winter. The three started talking...

Daniel returened to his cave to begin these 'files'. His overcoat had several note pages and he had a pencil also which he searched for as he shifted to human form.

Dio removed his armour, then sat down and began maintenance on his spinfusor.

The three get up after eating the snake and eventually find Dio.

"Hey... Did you know that the enemy has made an observation camp across the lake?"
