"Right. I'll go get my associate and we'll be on our way." Sniper said as he stood and walked back to his room to get Shannon.

Erica smiled a little. She rather liked being called 'miss'.
"Well..." She began, rubbing her chin slightly. Erica then continued to tell Valentine about her life's story.
"And there you have it... The highs and lows of what I can remember of my life.
As you can tell, we're not all that diferent, you and I." She said with a slight chuckle.

Shannon was awake and half-dressed by the time Sniper got back. "I was wondering where you got off to." She said to Sniper as she finished getting herself ready.

The Pyro stopped his stomach started growling. The Pyro went inside and ate from under his mask

"Time for the job. Get your gear ready." Sniper said as he prepared himself.

 

[Slenn]

OOC: I think I'll be off for a while. I've been lurking, but there hasn't been much to do.

"You serious? About time." Shannon put on her jacket and hat and hid her tail. "Ready to go!" She eagerly declared.

Valentine chuckled.
It seems Im not as lost in this world as I thought I was...
She said to Erica.

"I said get your gear ready." Sniper said as he held up his rifle and SMG.

 

[Kirke]

"Exellent."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Right, right. Sorries." Shannon said, realizing she misinterpreted what Sniper meant. She assembled her weapons, then slung the rifle over her should and had the SMG slung around her neck in case she needed it quickly.

 

[Chungus]

"Tee-hee. No need to thank me. I didn't do anything special.
But yeah, apart from staying here and keeping the others company, I'm totally lost in the world too."

Sniper nodded and headed out the door to find George.

Well....Maybe one day....we won't be lost....
She said to Erica.
Until then....I will protect this group...
She smiles a little as she looks up to the sky.

"Who knows. We'll see, won't we? I'll just focus on today until that time comes, not looking at the big picture.
It's easier that way." Erica said to Valentine.
"Anyways, you mentioned something about you being born from 'darkness'? What is that exactly?"

George was standing outside Sniper and Shannon's quarters.
"Are you ready?"

"Very good. I will accompany you to the objective, and give a final briefing on the helicopter. Please follow me."
He motioned for Sniper to follow him, and walked towards the helicopters.
