"We were fighting against a guy named Regal, who at the time was trying to open a doorway to his universe so he could conquer the one we were in. I was fighting a 300ft tall lizard monster at the time but some of the Joes told me what happened..." Joe sighed.

"Apparently Michael was up on one of the roofs helping us out and looking over the battle, when this werewolf named Swiftrunner came after him. He fought with all he could, injuring the werewolf pretty bad, but Swiftrunner got him pinned in the end. Michael's last words were to Swiftrunner never finding peace in the world, and used some grenades he still had to leave a lasting mark on Swiftrunner..." Joe said.

"I really wish I could have been there to help him." Joe added. "He was a great man and I'm happy to have known him for the time that I did."

OoC: How's that?

@Random: Ah, yes! I really liked that battle too! Joe firing the J.O.E. missile, the fight with Model 12 as well as the Chaos Marines, the final conclusion with Joe having a duel with Preginald. The Joes using onions to combat the fire spells of the Chaos Marines.

OOC: I really messed up with the Eldar though. I got quite a bit right but got the whole distress over death thing wrong unless it was a Guardian. Also they don't have prolonged engagements which made it quite hard. The Eldar way of warfare is a symphony of destruction, guided by an Autarch, wh is informed by the Farseers and then it is up to the warriors to fulfill their roles. Eldar have either won or lost in a matter of hours unless it is a special situation. Seeing the future is also quite hard to RP, especially the Eldar method.

OOC: @Outis yeah, that was unfortunate. Royce went well even for the short time that he was in that scene.

I'm still kicking myself because I had a really great idea of something to do with him, but I came up with it way after the fight was over. Ah well...

James listened to Joe's story, but didn't look like he had heard much of the detail. His face was devoid of all emotion, dead, somehow more grievous and frightening than if he had cried, or been snarling with rage.

OOC: @Ven Yeah, but you adapted them fairly well. It was a lot better that they took the damage they did and had to rush for the cover of the dome while the Normandy ran air support than if they'd stood up against the whole amry with just the few they had.

This was given to me by my parents....well thats what I was told....On my 18th birthday I recived a present from one of my many slaves, inside was this dress.....there was a label on it.....it simply said 'For our little death angel, make us proud'....
She said as she looked down at the dress.
Im sorry....That must of sounded pretty stupid....getting all cheery over an old dress....

OOC: @Berk I fucking enjoyed playing Eldar so much. Made a bad choice with Karandras earlier because hes an Exarch so can't really do much but wage war. I have half a mind to play Eldrad before the near future before the TDM thread and he will give the chance to be icnredibly cryptic, poetic and aloof with. Human soldier reaction to being attacked from the side: "Contact! Flank!!!....Return Fire!!!!" Eldar Striking Scorpiopn Exarch directing his squad to enemies to the flank. "There, our foe is near. Slay them fast, we walk in Khaine's bloody Shadow." Its just beautiful.

OOC: Heh, yeah, the Eldar were well played as far as I'm concerned, though I really know nothing about them. As for the Exarch, we all have our failures. Look and Galen and the Reapers. If I had time to play through all the characters I have prepared I'd probably have a few more. At one point I was even considering dusting off the codex and trying out a Fire Warrior team just to see how it went, but we already had far too much 40K stuff.

@Rosh: Shannon and Sniper joined the group, and James found out his brother died way back in Thread 1. Now we're waiting for Salty to get back so we can do the raid on the LoE HQ.

Four was wandering around the ship still. When Sniper led Shannon in, she was right near the entrance. Four and Shannon both looked at each other quizzically for a moment, not immediately recognizing each other from the changes in appearance they had undergone since they had last seen each other. Then they both realized who they were looking at and stared at each other, their tails flicking as they just stared each other down.

Erica nodded. "It suits you well." She complimented.

'What have I done!? I shouldn't have even mentioned it! He's miserable now and it's all my fault.' Joe thought to himself.

"Well, you have to look at it this way, James would have kept looking for his brother, looking for someone that isn't alive anymore. It doesn't seem it right now, but you did him a favour Joe." The brain replied to solely Joe.

'That still doesn't help the situation.' Joe thought.

OoC: Just a thought but since the whole plot for WAOA ended up being the Titan Wars, is Michael still alive? Or is it just for the people that lasted long enough.
