@Rosh See, I don't know about eastern story and design tropes, but if I created a (for want of a better term) westernised version of Winter, I'd change a few things. For one, you were saying military weapons aren't enough on their own so she uses powers? From what I can tell, the anime solution is to use the powers almost exclusivly, while the western solution is to use them in tandem and in equal amounts. Not a flaw in the writing, just something done differently.

Even then, its a strain against overusing it because it rapidly accelerates her heartrate, which can lead to death.

OoC: @Gear, you know when we had to design our own character and I made that ice and darkness witch. well I can wanna re-style her, so she does look like she has a horse's nose for 1 and 2 to make her generally better. suppose I can give you a description tho.
Emphasis on the word "Co.... Actually, thats a bad pun. This never happened. On a side note, that's pretty much what all the Vanguards and Wardens function like. They have to eat like 3 times the average human's calories per day just to function at their best.
There was going to be a scene where a bunch of soldiers would be eating in the mess halls. Then the Vanguards show up and order a large amount of food. They then eat it as the normal soldiers look at them cock-eyed.

OoC: @Hatchy Oh yeah, her. I still remeber the basic look, kinda magical-girl design with blue and purple as the main colors. At least, I think so.

@Gear: Pretty much. I did base alot of stuff from Mass Effect, Sins of a Solar Empire, Star Wars, etc... Then comes the deep stuff like Heart of Darkness, Apocalypse Now, and Dante's Inferno.
