Erica was hit in the neck by the guard and sumbled back. She considdered attacking him, but decided against it as she still wanted to resolve the situation with as little violence as possible.

Three more guards ran against Sniper, Grace and Kharag, armed with batons.
The guard that hit Erica aimed another blow, this time at her head before getting hit in the head by Scout, and falling over.
Heavy had managed to get in the corridor, but it was not clear which route Evilington had taken.

Kharag saw the guard laying into Erica with his baton and growled before striding towards them. As he went he saw the other guard coming to attack him and raised his mace to block the blow, before swinging it down from the side and shattering the man's knee. Wulfgar rushed straight past and placed the spectral blade of his bound sword against the throat of the guard attacking Erica.
"I'l have to ask you to stop that Sir!" He shouted. Then Scout brained the man with his bat, and he slowly lowered it.
"Ah, very good."

OoC: @Kirke Then why doesn't Tophat talk to the guy? I know he's not at his strongest, but he's on Evilingtons head, he should be able to communicate.

Behind Heavy, a blast door closed. It seemed thick. Lord Evilington waited around the corner at the top of the stairs, sword in hand.
Joe could see a elevator further down the hall.
The guard were easily mowed down, as they didn't wear any armour.
Dio followed suit, drawing his colt as he went.

Wulfgar shrugged as Erica set off again, and followed. Kharag debated whether to finish off the crippled guard who had attacked him, then decided against it and continued after the others.
