James had begun to take a step towards Gwen, but when Erica screamed, the shrill sound pierced the fog of its mind and it whirled around, tearing a gash in the wall with its giant claw as it did so. Unleashing a horrible roar, it lurched at her, swinging the great claw.

"Gah! Crap!" Erica exclaimed when the crature that once was James lunged at her. She jumped back, barely managing to avoid being cut in half. Now up close with the creature, Erica could make out James face, wich further added to her horror. "Oh no... James! That thing... It's James!" She said as she walked backwards.

OOC: @Gear I usually do. But every time I forget- like just now, again, for fuck's sake- it does it. That soundtrack is actually really good by the way.

James staggered as EMily's bolt struck it in the back, and swung around to face her with a roar. It ripped a great sheet of metal from the wall with its right hand and hurled it at her. On its beck, the scorched flesh scabbed over and began to shrink. As the fireball struck it screeched and flailed its left claw at Valentine.

Yuuka titled her head a bit at Kefka. "Alright then." She said, beginning to walk right around the entire magitek factory, not even bothering to go inside. She made her way around the back and walked a little distance away from the factory, into a nearly empty plot of barren land, with trace amounts of debris here and there. "This seems good" She said, her smile now genuine. She started clearing the debris from the plot, making for herself a large tract of bare, flat land around the size of a small football field. She started humming in content.

James howled and lurched towards Valentine, lashing out with its giant claw while snatching for her with its other hand. Even as it attacked it still appeared to be growing, and changing.
