"I want to make a sign that marks this room as mine, so if anyone needs healing, they will have a better chance of finding me. I just need to find supplies to make the sign." Grace explained as she walked out of the room and toward a storage area she knew of.
Makoto folowed behind Grace.
OoC: Sometimes, I just find the things that go on in this thread unbelivable. Grace and Makoto are decorating, while the rest of the group is fighting... THAT THING. I'm reminded of the time Relius and Nu showed up for a fight while Grace and Erica were having a cuddle. THIS IS NOT GOOD WRITING, PEOPLE.

James snarled at Valentine as it lifted her off the ground easily, then turned and glared at Noel as it took the bullets to the back When it was hit by the gravity field and the gale it stumbled and braced itself with its claw, tightening its grip around Valentine's waist as it did so. With a roar, it hurled Valentine at Gwen with brutal strength that made even its human counterpart look feeble.

OoC: I know, but... I don't want to fight, at least not right now, but there's not much else I can do that actually adds anything.
The beast was thrown off of its feet by the bomb, and dragged itself back up, having fallen close to the ship's entrance. It was significantly bigger now, over 8 feet tall and extremely broad. The claws of its left arm lengthened and sharpened into blades. Even more disturbingly, its head and torso were warping beneath the skin as it grew. The human face slid down over its chest as its skull pushed its way up through the flesh, the blazing red eyes still glaring from its sockets.
OoC @Gear: I'm inclined to agree.
Erica started backing off towards the exit, not because she wished to flee, but to lure the mutant over. "Hey you! I'm ove here!" She shouted. To accentuate her point, Erica fired a shot at James, but hoped it would miss.
Now looking at 'James'' new horrid form, Erica had to fight the urge to vomit.

James whirled to face Erica and Noel as they headed for the exit. If it were still capable of forming such a thought, it would have assumed they were trying to escape, and lunged at them, bellowing and slashing wildly with its huge bladed claw. The limb struck the outer hull of the ship and tore four long gashes, rocking the whole craft on its landing struts.
