OOC: Due to my inability to actually get to know characters I have decided upon a solution. I will only play villains and such, recurring bad guys or whatever. It gives the interaction I want without nipping into the bits I don't like. This revelation came about when I realised...I don't know what the fuck is happening with the majority of people and probably never will. So I have resigned myself to vague threats, unpredictable situations and just for @Nail probably bring Eliphas back at some point but for now I'll divert all focus to my side-quest. I'll tone down the Chaos infestation-ness and sort of just hang back from a battleship or something and once again try to bring the group to Chaos...constantly.
An older Krogan might have ignored the chest, but Kragg was curious, and approached it to see what was inside.
"We've already had a run in with Tark. He shows every sign of being indoctrinated himself, by an enemy of all synthetics that fled into other dimensions after they were defeated in our galaxy. We've been hunting them to make sure that exactly this couldn't happen elsewhere. What are these other enemies that you've faced?" Garrus asked, noting the human's worn features and judging him as a soldier of significant experience.
OOC: @Ven I have to say, I agree with that a lot less than the Tyranid thing. I personally have seen enough of Chaos. Also, at least wrap up Daniel first. Don'tpull a Trilby on us.

The inside of the chest happened to contain mostly glass objects wrapped in newspaper. There was one backscratcher that happened to be to big to fit in the chest. Luggage backed up from the Krogan not sure if he was friend or foe

Luggage being the hammer space box he is made it so that only the things he wanted to fall out fell out. The contents were the incredibly long backscratcher, the glass objects and a small plastic replica of the world's largest potato
Garrus turned and strode towards Valentine until he stood in front of her, looking down on her from his great height. He might have been glaring at her, but it was hard to tell, since his rigid face was not particularly expressive. He could have just looked angry all the time.
