"Yeah well... Your arrogance is what cost you." Katrina's back sprouted Dragon Wings as she broke the sound barrier and accelerated to hypersonic speeds, with both the Necrotic Sword and the Destiny Blade. She made the double slash at Hojo's front, and then quickly reversed the acceleration and doubled slashed at Hojo's back. Ending up infront of him, a good 5 yards away, The Elemental Orbs that she gathered (Light, Ice, Fire, Water, Wind, and Stone) manifested and flew up to....

Phoenix as she absorbed the energies into the Buster Rifle. "Target locked on. Professor Hojo. Magus Guns 4. Fire."

[Chungus]

Terra howled as she began glowing with a violet aura again. She channeled the aura into her claws, then released it, creating small sphere of cosmic energy formed infront of Hojo, wich began rapidly increasing in size, completely engufling him and everything nearby. Eventually, the sphere collapsed in on itself, forming a immense explosion.

Without his sword, Hojo was unable to deflect Katrina's attacks, which left him open to Bane's punch, which left him unable to guard as both Terra's Ultima Spell and Phoenix's Buster Shot hit simultaneously.

As the explosions cleared, Hojo smiled. "I regret nothing. I accomplished my goals. I played you all for fools. I was more than any of you, no matter how brief it was. I am and have accomplished far more than any of you will ever be or ever accomplish no matter how long you live. And one day, my son will be revived. And he will kill you all. There's nothing any of you can do to stop that. Hee hee hee... Hah hah ha ha ha haa."

With that, Hojo, disappeared. His body was more Lifestream than physical creature at this point.

Omega WEAPON, with the Lifestream dissipating, returned to it's resting place under the Earth's crust. But, if no one stopped Joseph, it would fullfill it's duty soon enough...

Cloud and Zack each paused, as their bodies started to dissipate just as Hojo's had.
"I guess this is the end of the journey..."
"It was fun, Cloud. I'll see you again sometime. And don't worry, I'll keep Aeris company."

Than wrenched Hojo's soul out of thin air and brought it to be judged. Two seperate Than's come and do the same for Zack and Cloud.

When Hojo faded Terra landed back on her feet and eventually reverted back to her human form. She bended over and placed her hands on her knees, breathing heavily.

Terra-2 had been watching the battle from a distance and was shocked to see her creator fall.

OoC: @Trty If you want, they can be said to be near the group. I never have my own characters take part in battles out of principle. Besides, most of the time, having the group battle someone has so much going on, that I can't really see my villains taking hits from them AND my own characters.
@Outis Zack maybe dead, but Cloud just surfed the Lifestream and is now heading back.

@Terra-2: "See? What did I tell you? Now what are you going to do?"

Katrina shrugged at Hojo's comment as the Elemental Orbs regathered back to her."And good riddance..." She sheathed both swords and calmly walked back into the ship as her armor disappeared to regular clothing as she fell asleep next to Crystal.

Phoenix lowered her buster rifles as they disappeared. "Mission...[sub]compl[sub]ete.....[/sub][/sub]" Her armor started to rapidly shattered back into their original shortswords form as she fell from the skies above.

Than caught Phoenix and brought her inside next to Jean.

Zack shrugs. "Haven't a clue. Wherever I was after that fight, I guess..."

OoC: @Phoenix: Fun fact: I mostly had the clone join the group to allow Nail to have a character to play without making him bring in a new character. The plot reason was more or less BS. But it sounded good!
@Rosh: You can always choose to ignore it, if not, and you have something you want to do.

Phoenix continued falling from the skies, head first.

OoC @Phoenix: Terra-2: "I... don't know."

Terra nodded in responce to Bane, then turned to Zack and Cloud. "G-goodbye." she said in a strained, and somewhat distant voice.

@Terra-2: *Smiles* "Why don't you stay with us for awhile?" You're supposed to be free-falling... "Right..."

Phoenix continued her free-fall, with no signs of waking up any time soon.

"What a perfect opportunity..." Megan said, using her Ultimate Orb to see Phoenix fall. "Just a few more feet and this will be easy get. Her hardware still needs some... upgrades for our plans, correct Derek?"

"Indeed."

Ooc: @Phoenix: I admit that I am curious as well. I kinda wanna know what will happen.

And let's go over some things.
Things I scrapped or were missed
~I wanted Bane to question whether he was a clone when he found the other Bane with the injury reminiscent of his own. He isn't, but I thought it would have been interesting.
~I also considered having Hojo inform Bane that his vertebrae was so badly damaged that it had to be replaced. But the replacement was temporary and only he could replace it. Effectively giving Bane a reason to find, but NOT kill Hojo.
~I wanted to do some sort of Hybrids. Possibly clones with Xenomorph DNA. Giving them enhanced abilities and acidic blood. That could have been fun, but I couldn't really implement it.
~Initially, I wanted the group to travel with the Mako Reactor and this would be how Hojo found the WEAPONS.
~Alternate Terra plan was for the clone to be used to awaken Omega. Terra would have been used to bring it down for the fight though.
~Intial plan for the revelation of the WEAPONS in New Zealand (or wherever it ended up being) would have had Hojo trolling Phoenix (using a Mako powered shield) to become her alter ego and unleash her satellite beam on him. This would have been the same result. Of course, the Hojo that got hit would have been a duplicate similar to the one the group fought.
~I intially intended for the group to fight the Cloud and Zack clones to escape. The Zack Clone would be seen to have more powerful materia than the real Zack though. And this is what would have made him threatening. The Cloud Clone would also have materia. I was also gonna activate a device to make the Void itself attack Phoenix making the group protect her on the way out.
~The clones were aged using Time materia. Hojo used it to rapidly age them. Of course, this destroyed the materia, but Hojo can mass produce it.

I think that's all the major things I had in mind.

"Goodbye... It was... fun." Cloud said as he disappeared.

"Too bad, I never got to take anyone out on a date. Whatever happened to Samus? Oh, Anyway. See you all around. Maybe in the next life or something." Zack said with a smile as he vanished.

Terra and Terra-2 both looked up at the sky to comtemplate where they saw Phoenix drop down. While Terra-2 hoped Phoenix would turn into a stain on the ground, Terra morphed into her Esper form and flew up, catching Phoenix before she hit the ground.

Pity. Terra-2 thought.
