Jacques woke feeling greatly refreshed. He hadn't realised just how tired he was from his long ride, and grinned as he stretched. Donning his cuirass, doublet, bandoliers and privateer's hat, he picked up and strapped on his rapier and holstered his wheelock before unlocking the bedroom door and going out into the mansion hallway.

OOC: Right. So I take it you're nowhere near the mansion?

Jean continued to glare at Karl as she nudged him out of the way and helped Tao back onto the ship.

Twilight's horn glowed and the zipper disappeared. "You going to behave yourself now?"

Tao got back on bored, thanks to Jean. "Meow that was really scary!" She said in a gloomy tone, then hugged Jean. "Thanks for saving me Jeans Lady!" She said to her, her tone when back to it's regular happy self.

OOC: Halle-fucking-lujah! After 2 months of stress, disasters and complete bullshit, my mapping project is finally finished! Now, for three weeks of recovery.

Anyway, I've been out longer than expected. Where is everyone, and what have I missed?

OoC: oh yeah, we all went on a boat (even the sleeping people) and ended up at washington state, heading to virginia. ROADTRIP i suppose.

To summerise the plot so far, there is a bad guy who you have to kill and a maguffin you have to get in order to please the guy who owned the mansion (Thanatos, the god of death). Where we are now is on a boat in Washington state and you are trying to make it to Virginia. We'll just assume your character knows all this and is with the rest of the group.

Twilight clenched her teeth. She didn't know exactly what scout had said, but she knew it wasn't nice. "Alright, let's go."

"I was happy to do it, Tao." Jean said as she led her away from Karl and to the others.

 

[Zepherus14]

"The nerve of some people, aye Arma? I extend my hand in response to the cries of a helpless individual only to be pushed aside and ignored..." Karl shrugged and decided to go ashore and see what the other nerdoowells were doing.

'That book of knowledge would be a fine prize to obtain.' He thought as he walked towards the other group.

OOC: I... ok. I see keeping up with the progress of the plot is going to be somewhat more jarring this time. Particularly since some of the new characters should have blown Jacques's mind when he met them, and ending up on a boat would be something he'd have been very happy about.

Jacques stepped out onto the deck of the boat and smiled at the gentle sway of the deck beneath his feet. He would have preferred the roll of the sea and the smell of salt air, but even so, the deck was where he was most at home. He decided to go and see what the others made of it.

With the group in Gettysburg, Henry began to ponder where exactly they should go next. The raven had instructed him to "go beyond Gettysburg" but that was too cryptic.
