Cloud drove down the road searching through the trees as much as he could until he came up to the town. "He wouldn't be this stupid..." Still, Cloud drove in, anyway.

falling, long fang ejected his other wrist blade. feeling the jab at his head, he felt it impact his helmet, causing nothing but a bit of a ringing noise and denting the blooded mark. He grabbed onto the mans hand and used his larger weight to toss him as far across the room as possible,his blades ripping into Banes arm. "Do better then that 'whelp'!"

As Karl kept walking Samus went passed him a second time. 'And there we go.' Karl said as he turned to her. "Let's go Arma, she isn't going that fast for nothing." Karl said as he ran after her, not wanting to miss out on the fun.

Samus caught up to Cloud. She kept her thermal visor up to look for a heat trail for the Joker.

Nova finally arrived at the abandoned town. Floating around, she eventually saw Jean, but didn't approach her just yet. She started scanning the entire place, making sure that every nook and crany was left checked and double checked.

Twilight galloped after the group, hoping that they get to Jean in time.

As the first of the hunters begins come into the village, the recorded message beings to play at various speakers set up by the Joker. "Welcome my friends, thank you very much for attending this little get together I've planned. As you know, a while ago a man used a book to make every person on earth disapear..."

Jean struggles vainly against her restraints. She may be stronger than she looked, but she was not that strong.

Samus turned on her scan visor and scanned the tablet that Jean was attached to, to make sure there was no trap or bomb strapped to her. The scan visor would also translate it if the tablet was of Earth history.

Cloud hears the announcement. "Isn't he pleasant..." He races through the city, looking for any sign of forced entry, recent activity, Jean, or the person who took her.

OoC: Bane fights a Predator, while Cloud, Samus, Scout, Twilight, and Tao search for the Joker... Gotta love this thread.

Terra yelped as she jumped aside when Bane was flung acorss the room, almost being hit by the giant. Wanting to get further away, Terra walked over to Axel, who she just noticed. "When did you get here?"

The metal wings floating along side Nova fragment as well as Nova's arms become twin plasma cannons. She continues to scanning Jean for traps.
