"I... don't know." Terra said to Zack. "One moment we died... and then we were alive again, then there was blackness, then we fought ghosts, then that thing appeared."

OOC: @Outis. I am liking the 'ghosts of the battlefields' theme you have going. I'm interested to see where we go next.

The ship banked over head, the cloak disabled to better be tracked. It swerved over the beach before landing, its hatch opening to allow everyone to load up. "Okay then, who needs a ride?"

OOC: Yeah, that... could have been better. So what was the story with the group getting blown up? Was that real or not?

It was an illusion.

Twilight shook her head, and finally turned to follow the others. Due to her teleportation, she had probably gotten the closest of any of them. This was not going to be fun.

 

[Saltyk]

"Huh?" Zack scratches his head. "What are you talking about? I was fighting Shin-Ra troops on my way to Midgar and then you all showed up." There's a slight pause. "I think. It's kinda blurry..."

Crystal got up and rubbed her head. "That thing....just took everything we had...." She muttered to herself in disbelief. "I think I need to kick the train up a gear..." Crystal walks back to the ships.

Tao ran back to the ships.

OOC: Alright, that at least is good to hear. And yeah, now that I think about it, the idea that the whole thing was an illusion of the dead from the D-Day landings is pretty cool. However, the fight itself could have done with a lot more mooks, and needed to be a bit looser with the turns. And basing the kills made on a random number generator rather than the effects of the attacks compared to the m=number of combatants present seems wrong to me.

She looks at Jaqu, "I don't know, but I'M GOING TO KILL THAT GUYS ASS!"

"I've told you all I know..." Terra said to Zack as she rubbed her arms.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Aww, it ran away. That's lame." Axel said. He relaxed and the energy forming around his fist dissipated. He stumbled at bit as he started to feel woozy, but shook it off and stood back straight again. "So...anyone know where Dr. Wimp ran off to?"

 

[Saltyk]

Cloud approached Bane. "I don't think we've met."

Zack shrugs and begins doing squats. "Don't worry about it. You're safe, then, right?"

 

[FPSfanatic]

Long fang stood back, waving everyone in.

She sees Zack and walks over to introduce yourself. She takes off her helmet.

"You're probably the 1 billionth new face I've seen in the past few days. What's your name? My name is Samus."
