Terra took several steps back upon hearing Malek, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire should things take a turn for the worse. As she walked backwards, she came across Jin and wondered where all these new faces came from, and why they ended up at the ships.

Jacques nodded.
"Yes, I guessed that. The world is vastly different from that which I knew. Not the least of these changes being the loss of all human life. It is something that I always feared, but did not expect to see. Not now, at least." He bowed his head as he spoke. Then he snapped his head up again.
"None here are indistinguishable from God, Scout." He said sternly.

I'm basically stating how I understand how a gun works, and I know nothing about guns.

Zack looks at Cloud. "Well, you look well. At least, there's that legacy still intact."
"Come on. Let's get to the ship."
The two walk to the ships to meet up with the others.
