"Yes!" Jacques exclaimed, and began pointing out areas of interest.
"Look. This area here is the Eastern coast of North America, where we began. The West was not well explored in my time, but Virginia should be around here." He ran his finger across the Atlantic.
"This is the route we took roughly, and here is the coast of Normandy. After that we travelled South to Paris. And now we are in Russia, which is this area here." He circled the old boundaries of the nation.

Crystal would see the prinnies setting up what looked like a plasma-screen TV, and were hooking up treadmills and exercise bikes to it. Etna was standing nearby, making sure the prinnies kept working. "Hmm? Oh, it's boring around here right now, so I'm making the prinnies do something to make it less so." Etna answered Crystal.
@Wacky: How does Scout, who is from the 1950s, think a GPS is 'low-tech'? Especially considering its on a future space-ship and is thus way more advanced.

OOC: @Wacky I don't really know Metroid, but wouldn't stuff on Samus's ship be extremely high tech to Scout?

Terra tilted her head slightly once Jacques pointed out the route the group had traveled. "We've come such a long way...? That's kind of hard to believe. Everytime we traveled, it felt like we've traveled for a couple of minutes at most. I may not know much about this world... but this looks like we shoud have been traveling for days."
Crystal looked at the various treadmills and exercise bikes. "It looks like you making the Prinnys going on a exercise routine" Crystal said jokingly. "If you so bored, maybe I can change that"

@Random: I'm pretty sure I read or heard something from somewhere that TF2 takes place in the 1950s, or maybe it was the 1960s? I can't remember...either way, it's decades before modern-day.

The journey to Russia alone would take an extremely long time by carriage, both due to the distance and the many obstacles in the way along the route. The passage across the Atlantic would not be as long, but even so, it would take some weeks, even on the new race-built galleons." He looked over at Scout.
"It is incredible! Every time I try to explore this ship I find some new marvel of technology. To create this device, I would almost imagine that God's own view of the world would be necessary." He frowned.
"Of course, with a vessel like this, one could indeed attain such a view, no?"
OOC: @Drak Ok. I never heard that myself. Makes sense I suppose, given that a few of the teams weapons are obsolete or even outlawed today.

"Hmm... Maybe the fact that we've been flying has something to do with it?" Terra asked Jacques, then turned to Tao. "Hmm... I don't think so. I can usually sense mystic energies fairly well. But I feel nothing magical about this airship." she said, then paused, giving Toa a curious look. "Speaking of mystic energy, there is something about you. But I can't quite put my finger on it..."

OoC: Well, in loose cannon, it's stated that the asutralians made teleportation, invisibility, and most of the worlds innovations in only 40 years. I'd say that it isn't all that far fetched.

"That's what I meant, Scout." Jacques said with a slight smile. "Regner, the advances that have been made in some of your worlds... I've seen such developments made many times before, but they were always so slow that you tend not to notice them until you look back and remember what the world was like without them. To suddenly find yourself looking at a world hundreds of years in the future in the space of a week, that is something new, something disarming."
