"Yeah...most of that just flew right over my head." Etna replied, not knowing enough about Earth to get much of Crystal's joke. "If you say so." I'll get her back for pulling that crap eventually. She looked around a bit, but didn't pay too much attention to anything she found.
Jacques leaned against the wall, his hand casually resting on the hilt of his rapier as he looked down at Terra.
"Don't you think that's a bit of an overreaction? If she continues to travel with us, at some point we will all likely have to do it. I myself intend to spar with her at some point, and the etiquette of duelling demands that I treat her with the same respect as any opponent. Does that make me as bad as her, que vous en pensez ?"

Crystal found a couple of pieces of metal and stuffed them into a sack before looking in a jewelry shop. "Hmm....I wonder..." She said, as she opened the door and had a look around.
Yes. Terra didn't reply for a while as she found herself thinking back to her days as a slave. After a while, she put on a pained expression and looked down at the ground. "When I was... captive, and when I still had a mind of my own... I often wished bystander would do something... They never did... They all just accepted it and moved on..."

Etna followed Crystal into the jewelry store. Her eyes lit up when she started paying attention and noticed where they were. She pulled a mallet out of hammer-space and immediately started smashing the display cases open and pocketing everything she could get her hands on. "Now I'm glad I bothered coming back to this place." She said with a giggle as she kept on looting.
Crystal gave a small smile. "I thought as much" She said, her eyes lit up when she found a Sapphire necklace. "Oh my God! this is perfect!" She said hugging it in delight, she then took 2 gold coins from her bag and placed them on the counter. "I think that seems like a fair enough trade, you ready to head back yet?" She asked Etna, watching as she smashed the place up.
Etna was a fast worker when she wanted to be. She had stolen so much that her pockets were filled to bursting, so she had to resort to wearing some of the jewelry she stole in order to keep it. She was wearing at least a dozen different necklaces, quite a few rings, and had somehow even managed to find a tiara that she wore on top of her hat. She smashed one last display case and put on the bracelets she found inside. "Sure. I just about cleaned this place out anyway." She replied as she walked back over to Crystal.
"So I can see" Crystal said with a giggle to Etna, then opened the door and walked out the shop with the necklace and bag of metal. "Well we better get back before you freeze"
"I'm not too bothered about the weather, although going to a warm place would make everyone happy and have....certain benefits...." She said to Etna, with a smile.
"Well it would make me happy, I know that much." Then she grinned at Crystal and asked, "'Certain benefits'? Like what? You've got me intrigued." Once the two had made it back to the ship, Etna flew up and back in through the tiger-hole.

Crystal stepped through the tiger hole and placed the bag of metal down on the ground. "Oh just little befits like....laying around a pool and stuff like that..." She replied to Etna, Crystal then started dreaming about it and gave a dreamy sigh.

"When taking a ship, it's not often the best strategy to just sail into range and let fly with the broadsides as soon as you have the elevation." He said after a moment. "Sometimes, it is best to hold back, guage the skill of the enemy commander, see whether they attempt to close with you or favour their own cannons. Only when you know what you are facing do you act on it, and then you can move into close range, to hole their hull and mow down their crew." As Etna entered, he lowered his voice.
"In fencing as in ship to ship combat, you can learn much about your opponent in the early moments of a fight, and again, that can be very useful later. Do you see what I mean?"

"Oh, of course. How could I forget about that?" Etna was about to drift off when she noticed Terra giving her the stink eye while she was talking to Jacques. She walked over to the two of them and said in a friendly tone, "Hey guys! Whatcha up to?" She figured with enough mock friendliness there might be a slight chance of getting the Racist Frenchman and the Drama Queen to not hate her quite as much.
