Jacques laid a hand on Terra's shoulder to try and calm her, but then it was his his turn to flinch at the gunshots. They were not as loud, however, and he didn't fear bullets anyway, so recovered fast, before staring evenly at Long Fang.
"He attacked a lady. I may have to accept that many things are different here but I'll be damned if I'm going to forsake all the values that I was raised with. I understand your concerns and for the sake of the others I wil not act so rashly in the future, but if he makes it a matter of honour again, then it will come to a duel."

Terra clutched her head when Scout's shot made her ears again. Rather then calm her down, however, this just serve to fuel her anger. Drawing her sword, she pointed it at Etna once she regained her bearing. "Keep this up and I will!" True enough, Terra was already thinking about what spells to use in the tight quarters.
