Long fang watched as his fellow hunters walked out of the room. "I'm sorry you feel so angry Terra." He said.

With everyone else cleared out, Jacques nodded curtly to Long Fang and Terra, then strode out himself and went to find somewhere to rest his head.

"Well...she did not necessarily agree to it...but I think the place is big enough for both of you to have your space. And you could talk to each other if you are lonely." Jean said.
Long fang backed off, letting her off the wall. "because, if you died, I'd lose the last reason I'm still alive. I will continue to do so until you are safe." He held his arms up, presenting his chest. "If you want to hit me, to let out the anger, do it. I won't fight back."
"I guess..." Phoenix started nodding off. "Well... Goodnight Jean. Tomorrow... She should find the rest of the group..." And with that Phoenix gently fell asleep though the warmth thanks to her Elemental Fire/Heat powers still present.

"Good. You do not strike me as a light striker." Long fang let his arms drop. "You must understand where I come from Terra. Honor has been everything. Always everything. But, because of what my species did to my clan..." Long fang shuddered. "I watched my own kind cheer at the bloodshed brought upon them. They loved the thrill of death. I have lost my love of my species. And now, I find myself entranced with humanity. And you, little one, are the greatest human I've ever encountered."
Etna sat on the counter-top, bored out of her skull. Then an idea popped into her head. She poked her head out of the door-way and said, making sure she said it loud enough for Terra to hear, "Hey...guy. How're those Prinnies I sold you working out? Customer satisfaction is one of my #1 priorities!"
Long fang turned and looked at Etna. "Living comfortably, not having to work as you forced them to before. Of course, if I had been treating them worse, this would have been a rather awkward point you brought up." Long fang turned to Terra, saying "That's not to say they aren't working, but they do it for 3 square meals and a bit of training in whatever they wish to do. Or at least, they will once we get back."
"Yes... I remember this story... And I can relate to it..." Terra said as she looked down at the ground for a moment, but looked back up at Long Fang soon after. "But... what makes me the greatest human you've encountered? I don't get it... What makes me better then the rest?" she asked, then groaned when Etna poked her head out of the door. She still wanted to attack her, quite badly in fact, but the knowledge that that would draw the attention of Joseph's forces to the small group's location stopped her. Hearing Long Fang's reply to Etna, she cocked a eyebrow. "You bought them...?" she asked with mixed emotions.
"You are the greatest human, because of your frailty. So many others here, can survive explosions, gunshots, and many things that others would treat as nothing more then a fly buzzing around their skull, while you are in danger with every step you take. And yet you still fight!" Long fang took a deep breath. "I've been terrified at times, and I had all this armor and weaponry. But you had nothing but the clothing on your back, your sword, and your magic, and you stood bravely along side myself and all the others. You had more honor in every step then I have ever accumulated."
