Long fang walked back into the room. "Okay then, We just need to plug you in, and we can get to work." He reached over Jacques head and pulled the arm holding the needles down, impaling him on both shoulders. "Now this will sting a bit." He then flicked them on, and they began supplying the body with both blood and repairing any organs that were damaged.
Jacques gave Scout the shadow of a reassuring smile. It actually helped that someone else was less assured of the situation than he. It allowed him to regain a semblance of control, of his own strength.
"Whereas in my case, the fire would simply burn the ropes and..." He began, then the needles stuck into his shoulders and activated.

I dunno if I should admire the kind of stones that takes, or bash his head in for being that stupid." Etna replied to Zack. "Eh, what the hell, I'll do both." She said with a shrug as she walked off, looking for George, her battle-axe resting on her shoulder. She was too focused to pay any attention to Phoenix.
