Bane would find a room full of glass cages. This time however, there were no creatures in them. Some were broken, there were even some signs of struggle, but not a creature to speak of. On the other side of the room was another door.

Clone Status Report​

That fool Joseph asked me to aid him in killing a bunch of insignificant idiots. Why he needs my assistance when he has supposedly killed everything on this planet is beyond me, but I don't really care. It has allowed me an opportunity to do some research and preform some experiments. And this whole situation is perfect for me.

I managed to convince the fool that by gathering their genetic material, I could create an army to slay them. I even assured him that the army would follow his orders. And they will. But they will follow mine first and foremost.

Phase One: Mass Copies.
Status: Complete

I told Joseph that I needed to ensure the quality of the genetic material, with this step. It was a lengthy process, but it is complete. With this I can now build and staff the airship, I'll need for my plans. Once that is complete, I will have no need of that idiot.

Of interesting note is one known as Nova or Phoenix. This one is obviously a clone and unsuitable for cloning. What's more, whoever created her was an incompetent. It seems she is already undergoing genetic degradation. That explains the fire powers she possess despite the original's ice powers. I'll get use out of this one and her idiot builders, I suspect.

Phase Two: Combatants
Status: Complete

I created several copies and placed them in facilities with large numbers of monsters and inferior copies to kill. The ones who succeed will be my combatants. Several successes have already shown themselves. And they are quite potent and vicious fighters. A rousing success.

Phase Three: Hybrids
Status: Incomplete

Still working on creating hybrid versions. I found an interesting sample with acidic blood that might be worth something.

Raven shook engineers hand "Nice ta meet ya Engineer. You can call me Raven! Don't think I ever actually got ta see anything on the tough guys back though, what's a Mako Reactor?"

Bane would find that the next room was almost exactly like the one he was attacked by the clone Zack in. Suddenly, there was a loud popping sound to his right!

OoC: @Rosh Feel free. Bane is leading Zack and Pyro into a unknown building. Etna is downloading files right now, in a different building. Both underground.

Phoenix and Katrina were hidden with the Darkness Elemental Dragon when Phoenix saw the report status of her own. She just remained silent.

Etna copied the Clone Report to her flash drive. So book-jerk does have someone else helping him, this is interesting. She opened up the next Report and read it while she waited for the file to finish copying.

The prinnies were all working on transporting all the stolen goods back to Long Fang's ship.

Flonne had spaced out standing next to Raven, so she wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings.

"Nah nah I don't smoke, I'll help ya keep watch though." Raven made his way up to the top of the ship to help keep watch

Katrina walked over to Etna frowning alittle at the text before. "Who's Joseph?"

Phoenix looked away from the screen. Too many memories of other clones.

Pyro had shot a monitor for one of the cages, which had housed a very delicate specimen... It had shorted out, and that was the popping sound.

Project L​

This planet seems to have a Lifestream, just like Gaia. I'm not sure what this means. It could mean this planet is related to Gaia. Perhaps linked through the Lifestream. Maybe even the future, past, or parallel version. More research is needed.

I have built a Mako Reactor. It is now working exactly as one should work. It is literally sucking energy right out of the ground. And that idiot Joseph has killed all sentient life on this planet. As a result, the Lifestream should be extremely potent. Perfect!

I've built a miniature Mako Reactor. I could place it on certain test subjects. It will likely grant them enhanced abilities as it will have to vent the extra Mako somehow, but that is a secondary function. The primary function [data corrupted] a good location to try would be a place know as New Zealand.

"I think that's the name of that jerk with the book that killed everyone. Turns out he's got a buddy who's cloned us all. I'm sooo kicking his ass for that. The universe is only big enough for one me." Etna casually replied to Katrina, not even seeming startled by her suddenly showing up. Then she looked back to the screen and brought up the next file and glancing through 'Project L'. Well that was considerably more boring. Though she did make note of some place called 'New Zealand'.

"Oh, uh, how would I go about doing that?" Asked Raven, still atop the ship

Katrina shrugged. "This isn't exactly anything new for me. Fought clones of be before. Never was bothered by it. But it did get rather creepy at times."

Phoenix slowly shuffled to see what else was on the next files.

 

[Furioso]

Raven scratched his head and jumped down "I... don't get it?" He said, "How am I supposed to check those things if I don't know how they work?"

With the dangerous and deadly monitor now defeated, Bane and company would find that they had free roam to the other side of the room.

Project J​

It seems that one of those fools is a previous failed experiment of mine. I don't recall his name, but he was an attempt to clone Sephiroth. He may well have Jenova Cells within him. This could prove useful to my plans. If I could reconstitute Sephiroth, he would ensure that all my most dangerous adversaries would be of no threat to me. I should make this effort. According to my records, the subject's name is Cloud Strife.
