"Not doing well now? Why's that?" Joseph asked.

"Alright then. So...didn't you have a story for me though? A story about your past..." Jean said to Flonne, leaning forward toward her.

Raven managed to avoid the hail of arrows by using the tree he was in as cover.

Mitsuru was not as lucky, as an arrow pierced her shoulder and leg before she made it into cover.

Raven jumped down from his perch and helped Mitsuru get to a slightly better cover, where he began to treat her wounds

Crystal guarded with a wall of Ice, she then when on to the freeze the ground under the Knights. in an attempt to make them slip as she ran off.

"Heads up Odile!" Dokurod said as the knight swung his sword, Odile ducked and stood there with her back in a 90 degrees pose. "Father...shall...I...engage..." "Oh course! Ive been waiting for this!" He said with a grin, Odile nodded and stood back up straight, then kicked low in a circle around her, using her heavy leg protection to good use.

"Because we don't have many Male Kaka Meow" Tao said to Joe.

 

[Saltyk]

"Good. Turn around and prepare the Mako Cannon. Fire when ready." Hojo orders.

As the giant Jade WEAPON breaks out of the mist, the giant cannon on the underside of the airship springs to life as it comes to bear on the behemoth. Just as it seems that it will ram the ship once more, the cannon fires a condensed ray of blue energy scuttling the huge beast, which falls to the ocean below. This is followed by a giant shell, as well.

"Excellent. Now take the ship to land on that island over there and make repairs. It will also give us an opportunity to fully charge the power reserves."

As Hojo had ordered, the ship lands near the base of the volcano on the Big Island.

"...Well obviously...but why is that a problem if you are noting but clones? Isn't mating no longer necessary?" Joseph asked, genuinely confused and intrigued.

OOC: @Salt: Depends. Does the Jade thing have a soul (aka: was it alive or was it a robot)?

OoC: @Outis It was a monster. Created by the planet to destroy what threatens it. It's most likely created with concentrated Lifestream energy, so you could argue it was hundreds or thousands of souls.

Than suddenly appeared where Hojo was.

"Oh yea....well when you put it like that....then Tao doesn't know why were shirking in numbers then Meow" She said to Joe, as she laid back down.

"Oh, you want to hear about my past? Okay, I guess I can tell you about it. What would you like to know?" Flonne replied to Jean as she stopped idly sweeping her broom back and forth, but still held it close to her.

With Raven and Mitsuru now out of line of fire, the archers focused on Crystal and Odile for the next volley of arrows.
The Knights near Crystal tried to run after her. Most of them didn't notice the ice under their feet, so they stumbled as they tried to run after her. One clumsy jack-ass even wound up impaling himself on his own sword as he slipped and fell. The rest all took it slow, then once they were clear of the ice chased after Crystal again.
Most of the Knights around Odile quickly hopped back as she kicked, but the one that swung for her couldn't and was knocked prone. One Knight came up behind Odile and swung for her again.

Hojo looks up from his work and sees Thanatos.
"I was wondering when you'd show up. Would you like to see something?" He asks calmly as he walks over and puts on what appears to be a radioactive protective suit.

Crystal continued running frantically. "Well that worked for a moment at least..." She said to herself, as she ducked and dived away from the arrows, she returned fire on the archers with her own Ice arrows.

"Behind you Odile" Odile nodded and side stepped the swing, then when the knight was close enough flicked her hand in up motion, which fired a dark magic cobweb. which delt a fair bit of poison and burn damage, she then started to slow go Sword to staff combat with the other knights, making her dark magic cobwebs at any chance she could. Odile couldn't avoid the arrows, so they hit her it the arm and back, although she was too busy to notice.

"...Do females still mate with males and have children? For that matter, how do you even clone males [sub]and[/sub] females out of a single subject? You must have some very talented scientists in your clan if they are able to manipulate DNA in such a manner...Unless..." Joseph said, rubbing his chin and Tao's head at the same time as thoughts and ideas started to flood into his head.

"Well...why are you a 'fallen angel?'" Jean asked.

"Professor Hojo, I presume." Than said as he closed the small distance between them with a few long strides.

After Raven had pulled the arrows from Mitsuru and was about to heal her Mitsuru instead used her Persona to heal herself. "Thank you for your assistance" was what she said before heading back to the tree line, this time using it for cover. She then began to target groups of knights and using an area of effect ice attack on them

As Mitsuru did this, Raven headed for the walls while the rest of the group was distracted and began to climb them

Hojo having placed on the protective suit walks over to a container and opened it up.
"The same. And you are Thanatos, the God of Death. Do you know what this is?" He asked pulling out an orange stone, and holding it up.

@FPS: Sure. Fight's still going on so go ahead.

"...I do not." Than said evenly.

Long fang ran down the hill, claws out and ready to scrape open the tin cans to the skin underneath. He dived into the fight with a roar, swinging away.

The wanderer swung out his Gauss rifle, taking shots at the archers in an attempt to distract them from his allies.

"This is orange materia. While other colors of materia grant their users great powers, this orange materia is different. It is my own creation. It can absorb Lifestream energy and become a potent powersource. Without it, my ship would find itself barely able to maintain it's flight functions much less the dozens of other functions and processes that go on at anytime. In short, my plans would fail and all life on this planet would be doomed." Hojo said placing it back into the containment canister.
"It can even absorb the Lifestream energy from living creatures, such as myself. Even you could be susceptible to it."
