"Deimonds... unless one has the ability to use their power, or they are speicially contained, cut ones will draw in power relentlesly. Everything around them slows, grows cold, darkens, becomes silent. If they are left alone for too long they can kill." The gem's glow dimmed, and her other hand was wreathed in flame. "Even those that can control them must be constantly vigilant, lest they accidentally turn their strengh upon themselves." She put the gem away, but kept the fire going. "If you ever want to talk about this problem of yours..."

Orm jumped down from the cliff, and slowly approached the group. He walked slowly, eyes darting between all the magic users.

Jania stood, cracking a small smile. The flame coiled up her arm like a snake. "I hope I can help." She put a hand on Phoenix's shoulder reassuringly, the fire not burning, just warming, then turned and walked away.
