@Drak, oh that's just cruel, I like it. Also, things to think about, why does Mitsuru need that gun when Kanji never did, and do they know each other. Would be weird to mention any of that now, but stuff to keep in mind

"Heh, I suppose it has been pretty nice, I think I'll join ya" said Raven before he began to make something in the sand

Mitsuru wondered what a regular folding chair was doing inside the ship, but it didn't matter too much to her as she quickly created a foot rest out of sand before sitting in the chair

Flonne was starting to get daunted by Jean's sand-based clumsiness, as the dome on the sand-Taj Mahal had taken her a good half-an-hour all on its own to get just right. "Um, that's still alright, Miss Jean. Lemme just tell you what to do again." Flonne repeated her instructions on how to fix the sand-dome, this time slightly more slower and better enunciated.
She turned back to the ranger and said, "Well it's nice to meet you Sir Halt. Oh! And you're little friend there is so cute!" She then pondered how the kitten stayed fixed to the top of Halt's head as he drank from the bottle.
As she heard Raven, she turned to him and watched, eager to see what he was building.

Jean focused intensely on fixing the dome, but basically ruined it with her general clumsiness and hastiness. "Oh god Flonne...I'm so sorry..." she said, quite embarrassed.

 

[Drakmorg]

Flonne looked back at her castle and was saddened for a moment to see her work ruined. But it was only for a moment. "Oh it's fine, Miss Jean. It's just a sand-castle, nothing to get all worked up over!" Flonne couldn't help but pat Jean on the head, trying to make her feel better.

Meanwhile, Etna had relocated to the beach. She sat down on the sand next to Mitsuru and sharpened what looked like a meat cleaver. She contentedly hummed to herself as she did, but didn't really address Mitsuru at all.

"Yeah...still...I'm sorry..." Jean said as she just started moving small handfuls of sand around.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Yeah he is, He is the best and only animal companion I've ever had. I got him fairly early in my job" the kitten still stayed on his head somehow.

OoC: I don't believe there is anything in Canon for Ravens sand castle building, sooooo

After some time, Raven stood up to look at his work, instead of a castle, he had recreated himself in the sand, with a sculpture of himself winking and giving a thumbs up (You need to look at it from above, if you get what I'm saying, it isn't standing up)

Mitsuru looked over at Etna "Oh hello Etna.... if I may ask, what are you doing?"

Flonne kept smiling at Jean. "There there, cheer up! It's not a day to be sad!" She remembered that Cat demons liked to have their heads scratched, and Jean looked an awful lot like them, so Flonne tried gently scratching her head behind the ears to cheer her up.
She turned her head to face Halt and curiously asked, "Oh? And what job is that?"
Turning back to check on Raven's progress, she couldn't help but giggle at Raven's monument to his own vanity. "That's pretty good!"

"Just killing time." Though I'd much rather be killing something else. Etna replied to Mitsuru, not looking up from her sharpening work. She was in a good enough mood to overlook Mitsuru addressing her simply as 'Etna'.

"Protecting the forest, Helping the sylvan elves, helping heroes to do whatever they are doing at the time"

Jean closed her eyes and leaned toward Flonne, purring lightly.

 

[Furioso]

"Thanks Flonne!" called out Raven as he smiled at the praise. He began to think of what else he could make in the sand, and got to work on something else

Mitsuru replied in a joking tone "As long as you don't plan to use that thing on any of us."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well that sounds interesting. You sound a lot like those...oh what were they called? Oh yes! Hippies! So what's it like being a Hippie?" Flonne replied to Halt.
She giggled in response to Jean and kept scratching her head. She's just like those cat demons...well maybe not just like them, but pretty close. I wonder if Miss Jean would like it if I found her a ball of yarn to play with?
"Um, Miss Jean? This might sound odd...but what do you think about yarn?" She decided to ask.

"Oh don't worry, you're safe." Etna said to Mitsuru, seeming oddly specific in her reply. She would have jokingly asked 'define us', but she figured that might raise some unwanted suspicions.

"Hmm...? I...I guess I like it..." Jean said with sleepy eyes.

 

[Demonjazz]

"What the hell is a hippie. I'm a ranger and I have a seat in the ranger council." He said and than turned towards Jean "So you like yarn, Nactilus Prostum" He said and than yarn ball shot out of his bag and started moving around. The kitten on his head woke up with start hearing the magic words and started chasing it

 

[Furioso]

Raven was still working, but you could tell he was working on some sort of city, with multiple buildings having been constructed in the sand, complete with mini roadways

Mitsuru raised an eyebrow in response to Etna's tone, but didn't really think about it too much as she asked her next question "...Why a meat cleaver?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Ohhh, I see now. I'd never seen a hippie or a ranger before, so I didn't know what either of them looked like." Flonne said to Halt. She eagerly awaited Jean's response to the magic ball of yarn.

"My kitchen set was dull, so I thought I'd take some time to work on 'em." Etna replied. Wait, why the hell am I sharpening this? Won't it hurt more if it's dull? Gah! How could I make such a rookie mistake?! She kept sharpening the knife a little while longer to save face, but planned on purposefully dulling it later.

Jean was too busy enjoying Flonne's scratching to pay attention to the yarn. Instead, she just rested her head in Flonne's lap and continued to purr.

Halt was a disappointed in the cat woman not taking off to try and catch the yarn. He returned the yarn back to his bag. The little kitten gets onto Halt's shoulder and meows to him. Halt started striking a conversation with the cat

 

[Furioso]

Raven stood back to enjoy the cityscape he had created, at least, he knew it was a city, it didn't have very many tall buildings that one would normally associate with a city.

Mitsuru nodded and went back to relaxing. She knew that there was no way Etna was telling the truth, but decided that it was best not to press the matter

Flonne was also disappointed that Jean hadn't chased after the ball of yarn, partly because she thought it would be fun to watch, and partly because she wanted Jean to have had fun chasing it around. Jean seemed content with head-scratching though, so Flonne continued, giggling a little at how the vibrations from Jean's purring. She looked over at the ranger and tilted her head as she watched him converse with the cat.
Her gaze eventually wandered over to Raven's sand-town. "Ohh, that's very nice!"

Etna let out a small yawn. "Man, we may not have done squat today, but I'm still tired." She said, excusing herself as she got up and headed back into the space-ship.
