We Are Our Avatars IV (Uh, closed for real now)

In response to Raven, Flonne walked close to Twilight, then leaned over and squinted, like she was inspecting Twilight closely. She did this for several minutes, occasionally 'Hmm'-ing to herself as if she was deep in thought. Afterwards she walked back over to Raven. "Nope! I see it too." She replied, though she didn't whisper like Raven did.

 

[Berithil]

Twilight leaned back from Flonne's close inspection, then raised an eyebrow. See what?"she asked, suspiciously.

 

[Furioso]

"Oh good! I thought I was starting to go senile! Just to be sure, I better get some sleep." Raven then went to his tent outside and began to sleep

OoC: I really wish I could continue this, but I have school in the morning. Thankfully I don't have as many classes as I usually do so I shouldn't be gone that long during the day
@Salt, Yup, gotta slap myself

Twilight watched Raven walk to his tent. "I feel like I'm missing something."

OoC: @Furi Well, I didn't want it to be too obvious... I'm kinda glad that you didn't see it coming.

"You, silly!" Flonne replied to Twilight, sticking her tongue out cutely. "He just thought he was going crazy because you're a talking unicorn." She attempted to explain to Twilight.

Etna came back from wandering around in the forest for a bit and found Flonne and Twilight outside. "Huh? Flonne? When did you get here?"
"Hi Etna! I don't know!" Flonne replied, ever cheerfully.

 

[Berithil]

Twilight nodded slowly. "Riiiight.... Of course."

Twilight then looked at Etna. "Huh? You know Flonne?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, I don't really get it either. Maybe because talking unicorns only exist in cartoons and video games?" Flonne replied. Then her face absolutely lit up as she asked, "Is this a cartoon or a video game?" she seemed to giddily hope that the answer was 'yes'.
"Yeah, I used to work for the same guy that she does now." Etna answered Twilight.

As time went by, Bane could hear the sounds of battle, monstrous creatures screaming challenges and echoing cries of pain. Before long, the black haired man had killed almost all of the other specimens, but he occasionally came to look at Bane. Bane could almost swear he heard the man say "weak" when he did come by, but he wasn't sure.

In time, a man in a lab coat came through the door, and the black haired man seemed to come to the man's side. It seemed to answer his beck and call. Was it respect? Fear? Did he see this man as some sort of father?

"That was quite a feat. You found my little hideaway. Where I tested one of my new specimens. Why did you come here and how did you find it?"

 

[Berithil]

Twilight blinked. "Uhh...I don't think so." she said, not quite sure what Flonne was talking about.

"Worked for the same guy?" Her head was swimming with questions, but she decided to just leave it at that.

 

[Drakmorg]

Flonne seemed depressed for a second to hear that she hadn't somehow gotten transported into one of her favorite forms of media. However, it was only for a second, then she was back to her usual chipper self.

"Yeah, I quit a while back because he was just too big a jerk to deal with any more." Etna answered Twilight. She pointed at Flonne and said, "I don't know why she's here though."
"Neither do I!" Flonne chimed in. "The last thing I remember doing was taking out the garbage, and then 'poof!', I was suddenly here!"

 

[Saltyk]

The man chuckled. "He is not a slave. He is a specimen of mine. Would you like to be a specimen? I could help you to walk again."

OoC: So, how was this whole thing?

 

[Berithil]

"I see."

Twilight looked back to Flonne. "It seems like a lot of us were in the middle of random things when we got pulled over here. Still not exactly sure why it chose us..."

 

[Saltyk]

Hojo smiled at him. "No cost. You only have to be my specimen." He chuckled some more, causing him to appear to shake violently.

OoC: @Trty Like I said, Bane would be broken and it would be sort of poetic. Remember what he is most famous for? Breaking Batman's back?

 

[Berithil]

Twilight looked back at the forest, then yawned. "I think I'm gonna head to bed. Nice to meet you Flonne." Her horn glowed and she disappeared, teleporting inside the ship.

OoC: It's a bit slow, and it's late, so I'm going to go to bed. See you all tomorrow (hopefully)
