Jacques nodded to Scorch.
"You too, mon ami." He said before looking at Scout as she approached.
"Hmm? Oh, the beggar? No, I just... was not in the mood to deal with him." He replied with a glance at the rethtreating Scotsman. "I'm still uneasy following what happened the other day, and I have seen Kanji's body as well. I have seen too many friends taken by death in my long years."
"Capitan Jacques Leveque." He replied to Raven. "You seem cheery, for such grim talk."

Crystal rolled her eyes. "He wants metal for some reason" She called out to Twilight, then went back to writing.

"Hmm... To tell you the truth, I'm wasn't really cold either... While it isn't wxactly warm here, it isn't nearly as bad as the last place we were." Terra replied, holding out her hands to the fire again. While she indeed wasn't very cold, the heat from the fire was a pleasant change.
Grinning with satisfaction, Joe went to work rubbing, scratching, and stroking Tao's uncovered ears.
Etna rolled her eyes dismissively as she passed Scorch, though it was more for her own benefit as he wouldn't have been able to see her at that point. She heard the others talking about Kanji being dead as she walked up. "That guy Kanji's dead? Huh. I wonder if that Zack guy killed him after all." She said, thinking out loud.
