OOC: @trty We now know that Kanji is dead, and he's been seen off with respect. We've discovered that Scout's headaches are caused by *sigh* involuntary glimpses through the fourth wall, though she doesn't know that herself.
@Demon: She not wearing her DragonLord armor, but her Soulweaver gear which is slightly reinforced leather.

Jean nodded slightly as she looked down at the ground. "[sub]I just want things to go back to the way they used to be...[/sub]" she muttered.
An idea suddenly occurred to Jacques. Calmly, he sat Scout down, sat beide her and fixed his eyes directly on hers.
"Scout, can you tell me any of the things the voices say to you? Anything at all? They may be a product of your own mind... but maybe they are not." He said in a low, steady voice. "Perhaps they are the voices of other forces, who have chosen you to hear them for a specific reason. If so, we would do well not to ignore it."

Jania gave a small smile and nodded in agreement. "Well, you seem to be cheering up a little."
The information troubled Jacques.
"That... essentially dispels any hope that you may be our Joan D'Arc." He admitted, his tone ominous. "It does not, however, eliminate the possibility that something may be seeking to control you... and if it will not do so through benevolent means, then it could be very bad indeed. I think this should definitely be brought to Terra or Crystal to start with. In the meantime... I would like to find a church on santified ground, in the absence of a priest."

As he walked off, Raven called back to Terra "Anytime sweetheart!" Once he made his way into the forest, he took out his ornate short-sword, which then folded out into an ornate bow. He began to talk to it "Hmmm, we really got ourselves into a pickle this time. When I get back, I'll have ta visit ya again, plant some more Fire Lily's..." He began to practice his archery on various things in the forest
"I will say nothing more than is necessary, you have my word." Jacques promised with a reassuring smile. "I want to see this issue resolved, and I really think that you should not hide it completely, but I will not shame you in front of any of the others." He turned to leave, then stopped and turned back to her.
"Whatever this is, I am glad that it is not what I originally thought. It gives us time to resolve it, and there is no immediate threat to your live. Among all the people that I have met in over 400 years, through the great changes in culture that I have witnessed, you are absolutely unique, your personality and manner, the way you think, the things you know. All of it. That, I think, is worth saving."
