"Interesting. It seems the formula I introduced to your system, induces nightmares. Not much use for it, though. I was hoping for better results." Hojo said walking off, after observing Bane.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Now how was that rude. I was only asking you a question. If I was rude I would have dug out all the ground from under you."

 

[Random berk]

Jacques watched Scout go, his appreciative smirk replaced by a confused frown.
"Don't get too..." he muttered to himself, then shrugged and shook his head, unsure of what she meant. Getting to his feet, he followed her out, then went his own way at the door. Drawing his sword, he began to run through a routine intended to maintain his footwork, which he felt had flagged in the time that he had spent either fighting from horseback or with guns.

"My name is Terra..." Terra replied as she scooted away from Zeke.

OOC: Wow, how did I not notice this sentence before? What's an extensional crisis? The only one I can think of offhand is massively accelerated sea floor spreading.

"Huh Terra is such a weird name. How exactly did you get this name anyway. Does it have something to do with earth powers"

"No... It's just a name..." Terra replied. In truth, she wasn't even sure if it was her name or not, as no one before finding herself on Earth, had called her by her name before.

"Well that sure is strange. Well I'm bored now. What do you want to do"

OoC: So are we ever going to do anything? It's been about 2 days...

I've been wondering the same thing. Since Outis seems to have given up on his plot, I guess not. Unless Salty or Rosh is gonna do anything.

"Oh, you're finally awake? I was wondering what was taking you so long. Well, since you have so much energy, why don't you test out your strength against another specimen. I'd like to gauge your strength, now." Hojo walks to a control panel and presses a button.

Bane finds his cage lowering into an new larger area. The walls disappear below. And soon he realizes that he is not alone. In the corner, he sees fairly sizable ball-like creature. It seems to be on fire. or living fire.

"Finish my cake, enjoy the fire... What I was doing before you interupted..." Terra remarked as she turned to face the fire again, then continued eating the cake.

@Random: Honestly, no. This is not quite what you think. Hojo has plans for Bane.

Jacques had picked a location with a long clear area to practice in and darted back and forth in a straight line. He stood in a classic fencers pose, sword tip held loosely in front of him, empty hand held up over his shoulder like a scorpion's tail, feet apart and knees bent, each bearing his weight equally and allowing him to spring off either foot. He moved back and forth with fluid ease, fast enough that an opponent would have no time to predict the direction and react. He lunged, his empty hand snapping out behind him to counterbalance as he thrust fromhis back foot, his sword tip flicking out almost as fast as a bullet. He brought his empty hand sharply back up to his shoulder as he recovered, almost as if he could pull himself by an invisible handhold. The maneuvre was done with the speed and apparent weightlessness of a snake snatching a bird from the air.
