Flonne came stumbling back to the group's makeshift camp near the Great Wall. She was covered almost head-to-toe in dirt and had twigs lodged in her hair and clothing. She slowly made her way over to where Terra was sitting. "Here you go...Miss Terra..." She said, holding out what looked like a raggedy and torn up piece of clothing to Terra.
"Merci." Jacques said, not looking at Cloud as he continued his routine. As he spoke he changed from a simple foil/epee style to a saber appropriate set of maneuvres. Though his footwork was similar, his sword strikes now began to incorporate a series of darting slashes and wider blocking maneuvres, aimed at defending against a similar style whereas the previous one had been all thrusting attacks, and the parries had been almost imperceptibly subtle movements.
"This style is a recent development in my country. It is used in duels of honour, and it translates well to deck combat. I am also highly skilled in older forms of swordsmanship however." He said as he executed a wide slash at head height.

When Flonne came back andapproached terra, presenting something that resembled a coat, Terra put on a somewhat guilty expression. "Oh... I'm sorry, but I actually already have a warm coat... I would have told you, but you ran off before I could say anything." she explained. Then, her eyes drifted to Raven carrying Kanji's body. She stood up and walked over to Raven. "When... did this happen...?" she asked, sounding more suprised then sad.
Phoenix snapped out of her gaze, seeing that Jean had walked away. She followed her trail, eventually catching up with Jean. She carried an uncharacteristic smile on her face, warmth radiating from her body. "Things will. Don't you worry about it." she smiled at Jean.

"Oh, hello...Miss Twilight." Flonne replied. Twilight would probably have a hard time telling if the pause in Flonne's speech was due to her being unsure of how to address Twilight, or because of the fact that Flonne looked absolutely exhausted. When Flonne learned that she had just spent the last five hours looking for a coat that wasn't even necessary her eye twitched a few times. Then she fell over onto her back, no longer even having the desire to stand up any longer. She didn't pay much attention to anything else that went on around her.
"I see. My own style is more about strength and overpowering strong foes and monsters. There is an element of defense and skill, obviously, I have to be able to fend off attacks from people who are my equal, but it doesn't seem quite as deft as what you are doing." Cloud replies.
