OoC: @Gear Well, I'm starting up a bit of plot and I'm pretty sure most people will remember Hojo as the best villain from this thread.

OOC: @Gear Can't hurt.

Iorveth stopped playing, letting the last note linger before sliding the flute into a satchel. He took his bow off his back and held the weapon before him. How many Dhoine had felt the sting of arrows from this weapon? Stupid, short lived humans wandering into the forest. Maybe they were lost, maybe they were hunting or simply chasing a runaway farm animal. They would find the warnings. Corpses left to rot, an arrow in the eye. No warning. Iorveth continued to inspect the weapon. It was a message the humans needed to learn but never would. They had taken the elves cities, demolished them and raised their own disgusting hamlets. The elves had their forests and they would remain the elves.

He began testing the strength of the string idily while his mind wandered as he sat on the fallen branch.

@Salty Too bad I'll miss most of it due to timing. Hojo is just a mad scientist isn't he?

OoC: @Saltyk A little egotistcal to presume that so early, but Hojo is an interesting character from what I've heard. I do want to see where you go with him.

Jania walked out of Long-Fang's ship, stretching and looking around.

OoC: @Gear Nah. I've got things planned. Big things. If things work out, two major plot points will be accomplished tonight.
@Ven Yep. Mad scientist extraordinaire.

OoC: @Saltyk Ooooh.... By the way, there's a scene from FF7 that I really need context for. I haven't played FF7, but from what I understand, at one point Hojo lock Aeris in a cell with some wolf thing and expects them to... erm... PLEASE tell me that isn't true.

OOC: @Salty Maybe its good that I miss it then. The 'Mad Scientist' archetype is not one of my favourites. I think there are only two characters who share that trait who I actually like. Zyael Apollo Grants and Voltar.

OoC: @Gear It's Red XIII, one of the main characters. He joins immediately following that scene, by the way. As for what Hojo intended... Yeah, that seems to be the implication. Though, he could have been trying to get them to fight. In Crisis Core, there are a lot of side missions in which Zack fights Hojo's experiments to test them. It's never explicitly stated what was intended. It doesn't really go anywhere, though, as Barret shoots at the container and Hojo opens it to save "his precious specimens". When he does, Red XIII attacks him. He later apologizes to Aeris stating that he was only acting to fool Hojo. So, that's the context.
@Ven What's wrong with a person who only sees everyone as a guinea pig, test subject, or specimen and is completely willing to kill them for the sake of science and who also experimented on his own son in the womb and tried to kill a man who questioned it?

OoC: @Saltyk ...Ergh. *shudders* Hojo is one creepy bastard. Also, I saw that little joke chat you and @Nailik had between Hojo and Relius, and in all seriousness, maybe someone should play Relius so they could team up. I think they'd get along pretty well.

OOC: @Kirke Iorveth's free. Tried to make my last in character post a clue to that.
@Salty. Its so....Mwuhahahahahaha I'm a genius! Once I succeed with placing laser beams on every 5 year old then on-one will be able to stop me!!! They are literally too evil like saturday cartoon evil. Szael sees everyone as test subject but not for science...for himself. So he can perfect himself and be immortal. He represents madness in death as well so he's probably insane. I just like him because of his bi-polar ish personality and his release command.

OoC: @Gear Nah, I don't think so. Besides Hojo will only ever see other scientists as inferior to him, only ever giving props to one man, Professor Gast. And he stole all of Gast's files and work to aide his own. And didn't share that information with anyone it seems. One scene has Hojo reference it, and when Rufus asks where the report is, as he has never read it, Hojo points at his head and says "right here." Besides, I have my plans and don't need any assistance.
@Ven I'd say you shouldn't judge a evil genius until he has experimented on your whole family and turned them into monsters just to see if he could.

OoC: @Saltyk, Hey, I didn't say Hojo would have to see Relius as an equal. Think of it this way: Relius is willing to kill his own wife and daughter, turn their corpses into puppets, scar his only son for life, make a mini-version of Orochi, work with Hazama, break people's minds in a really disturbing way, try to kill god and plot to bring about the end of reality itself all in the name of SCIENCE!. As long as Hojo threw him some research he wanted, Relius would be more than happy to serve as an underling.

OOC: @Salty Szael can use his creations as health. When beaten up he just eats them. Also his release, Fornicarus is brilliant. Using the flower like protrusions from his back he can envelop someone and replicate them as a hollow doll which contains replicas of the persons organs. He can then crush them and the damage is done to the person's organs much like a voodoo doll. I should have decided between Iorveth and an Espada but I think the Espada are too powerful to play really.

OoC: @Gear I'll pass. I already have things planned and I can't see a use for him. Hojo has a clone army and an evil plan.
@Ven Oh, Espada Number 8. God, I hated that one. He just wouldn't die. Even when a Captain started fighting him, he survived like 3 death blows. He was the worst of them all in that respect.

@Furioso: I am. I think I might be the only one though.
I always hate this early morning (for me anyway) OOC spam. It's always stuff that could easily be done in PMs or in the Chat Group, but no one ever bothers and they just clutter up the thread.
