Jacques saw some of the others bunching up around a particular spot and went to see what was happening. Finding Etna flogging some jewellery, he came close to investigate.

"I found 'em laying on the ground. You want one? It'll cost ya..." Etna answered Jean, pointing at the sign she was sitting next to. "Hey, what can I say? I'm ambitious." She responded to Jacques. She glared at Demopan for changing her sign, then took out a paintbrush and changed it back.
"Oh wow! They're so pretty!" Flonne remarked as she fawned over the necklaces.

Jacques glanced up at her then returned his attention to the merchandise.
"The strange Scotsman is right." He told her. "Your prices are very high for something you just found lying around. A little trick we used to offload our spoils after taking a prize, was to always sell it a little lower than market value. We could empty our holds and be out of port again on time, every time."

Long fang returned to the eggs he had left there, and began burning them. It was a safe manner, but he hardly wanted them to continue lying there. As they burned, the acid blood evaporated and became a steam, damaging to unshielded lungs and nothing else. He observed it, before taking out a vial and bleeding the last dry, keeping it in the reinforced glass. enough for a few bloodings he thought, before perusing the other parts of the vessel, purifying any sections he'd missed.

"Well, these aren't just regular necklaces you know. Allow me to demonstrate." Etna picked up one of the necklaces by the chain, then firmly clasped her other hand around the pendant. She seemed to disappear from existence with an audible 'pop'. Several seconds later she reappeared right where she was standing before. "That's kind of a stupid question, don't you think?" She replied to the Demopan.
