Jacques nodded and went to make his report to Cloud.
"Our location now is China, far to the East of France and some way North. Now, the Archipelago is in the great gulf between the North and South Americas, which are far to the West of France. It is a long distance, but..." He stopped, thinknig back to Samus's chart.
"There is a theory..." he began uncertainly. "A theory that the world is not a planar surface, but a great sphere, which would mean that the extreme Eastern edge connects with the extreme West. I didn't believe it, but... here, I'm not so sure. If it is true, then we need only fly East, and a short distance South."

"Depending on who you were asking..." Jacques muttered, before shaking himself and answering out loud.
"Yes, there was civilisation there. The larger islands had indigenous tribes, and the Archipelago was extensively colonised by the British, French, Spanish and Dutch. They built plantations and estates, ports and towns, which I hear were beautiful places." He glanced at Terra out of the corner of his eye.
"I think in this case however, it would be best if we do not find anyone there." He said quietly.

"From what I know, there is no one there. There's no one anywhere. So, I think you'll get your wish. Good to know we can find some places to get the little necessities for such a trip, though."
