"Oui, lets have some fun!" Jacques agreed. "I'm going to go this way, find a port, a couple of other things. Au revoir!" He set off along the beach, kicking up sand with his boots. Anyone watching him at this point would have been amused by his appearance. His cuirass, doublet and hat were all lost. With his black boots, baggy pants and white shirt stained with dirt and some blood, double bandoliers looped across his chest, rapier at his side and a blue rag wrapped around his forehead, he looked considerably more like a pirate than any kind of noble.

OOC: @Nailik I aim to add at least one new setting to it by tomorrow.

Phoenix felt very, very unsure about the hug. "[sub]Just... What do you people want from me...?[/sub]" she mumbled.

The two continued their healing...

Jean frowned at the less-than-warm reception to her hug. "I'm sorry Terra." she said, sounding more frustrated than sorry. "Well I would like you to stop calling yourself a slave or whatever." she said to Phoenix.

Raven emerged from the ship in his swimwear, carrying some towels and an umbrella. He found a spot on the beach, set up the umbrella and towels, and began to relax

Flonne kept wandering around the space-ship, not knowing they had landed yet. She stumbled across Katrina and Crystal and instantly put on an expression of worry. "Oh my! What happened?"

Meanwhile, Etna had left the ship. She frowned at the fact that they had finally made it to a beach, only to have it not be sunny when they got there. She shrugged it off and set up her little 'shop', hoping she might be able to rope some more people into paying to get the necklaces that Katrina had left behind for everyone.

"Man this is wicked awesome. Haven't had a good beach party in ages. Hey we should totally have a race. Wait I already win haha." Kale started to mess with some wires and stuff on the beach side

Terra took a moment to calm herself, pushing memories of certain events back to the back of her mind. Eventually, she wiped her hand over her face and took a couple of deep breaths, then looked back at Phoenix. "I... don't get it... How can you just give up like this?"

OoC: @Drak, oh wait it isn't sunny? I must have missed that

OOC: Sunny or not, it would be warm. The Caribbean Islands at night are just as pleasant as during the day.

@Furioso: I think we have an unwritten rule where the time of the RP relates to your own time. At least, I think that's how we decided time works, at one point. And it's like 10pm where I am now, so I'm just going off of it now being night.
@Random: I also like the change.

"... Why do you disagree?" Phoenix questions Jean. She turns to Terra. "Terrible things have happened to me. Torturous experimentation, bones purposely broken to become stronger with growth. Muscles destroyed, nerve endings burned all to reduce pain, but... [sub]It hurt so much...[/sub] And I couldn't even scream, and I couldn't even talk. My mind was my only solace, but... even then, they found ways to break in, and fed me thoughts not my own.... I... I c-c-couldn't resist." she looked down as a few tears fall.

Flonne would smell bacon in the air, and that Katrina's armor has becoming a slight dull red. Katrina's usual Blonde hair has taken some hints of red in it.

Katrina slowly gets up as Crystal faints from over exhaustion from her healing. "[sub]Damnit...[/sub]" Katrina muttered as Crystal fainted. She slowly set her on the medbay bed and sighed turning back to Flonne. "I... was careless and I didn't have enough power." she cups her forehead.

 

[Random berk]

Jacques was pleased to get out of the ship. Though he sympathised with the problems of the people on board, sometimes they just became overbearing. Strolling down the beach in the warm, humid night air had cleared his head nicely and left him with a sense of freedom that he had not known since his long ride to Paris. As a result when he had run across a low-built stone storage shed above the beach, he didn't think for long before breaking the door down. Now he was inside and gazed with joy at the rotund, golden bottles stoppered with corks lined up in rows on racks at perched on wooden kegs.
"Je suis arrivé au paradis!" He whooped.

OOC: @Drak and @Nail I think its appropriate.

"But that's not going to happen anymore. You're not my slave. You're my friend. And you're Terra's friend. You mean a lot to a lot of people. Much more than any doll or slave." Jean said.

Terra attentively listened to Phoenix speak of her suffering, occasionally looking away as other painful memories krept up. When Phoenix finished, Terra reached out, wanting to place a hand on Phoenix her shoulder, but stopped mid way. She couldn't bring herself to do it. Instead, she crouched down infront of Phoenix. "Knowing all this, why do you give up? You know giving up will make you go back to that life, don't you? Do you want that?" Terra asked, then paused, looking away from Phoenix. "I don't... I am never going back to that!"
