We Are Our Avatars IV (Uh, closed for real now)

"I think he went to bed. I still need to change clothes." Zack said, motioning to his bathing suit.

Terra walks into a much larger room with a huge computer on one side. Hojo walks by her and presses a few buttons on the computer. "This will only take a few moments."

As he does this a few different screens, pictures, and words pass by: Sephiroth, Jenova, Lifestream, Professor Gast, Ancient, a picture of a white haired man, and picture of a black haired man with a red cape, Chaos, Ifalna, Lucrecia, a picture of a woman holding a newborn baby, a picture of a strange female appearing creature with odd colored skin with a mask over her face reading Jenova, a picture of a young Cloud, SOLDIER, schematic of an airship, Jenova Project, and several others.

"Here it is..." The screen changes to reveal a DNA strand. "This is your genetic code. It tells me everything about you. Now..." A few spots are lightened on the display. "These are most curious results. Even I have never seen such information, and I have a great deal of experience with DNA. So, I used the resources of that idiot Joseph to test out some theories. I even created a clone of you, I am sorry that it attacked you, by the way. It escaped and attacked you, in some misguided attempt to gain my affection, it seems. It seems it saw me as it's father, indeed, I suppose that is true. I left it there, I'm sure your former compatriots will kill it soon enough..." He presses some buttons, again.

"Anyway..." The screen brings up the clone fighting, as a humanoid. "I had to test it and during a particularly interesting experiment, this happened." On the screen the clone changed form into a purple esper form. "You can do this, too."

OoC: @Zeph, meh, he's probably used to being set on fire thanks to one of his in game party members

Flonne did her best to help Raven. She managed to get things done pretty well, as while she had very little experience in setting up a camp, she was very good at following instructions and did everything Raven told her to do exactly as he had told her to do it.

 

[Furioso]

"Good job!" Said Raven enthusiastically to Flonne, "Now how bout I make some sweets." Raven pulled out his cooking equipment and began to make something

[Chungus]

"Hmph. Typical." clone Terra remarked, refering to Bane and ignoring the comments on Zack's bathing suit. She then turned around and began looking for the exit again.

"Im-im-posible..." Terra said as she slumped over somewhat, dismissing the spells she was readying. [sub]"Is... this why I am able to use magic...?"[/sub] she said to herself, then clutched her head. "No... No! I don't believe you! I... can't believe you!"

Flonne just smiled and clapped happily at the prospect of getting something tasty. She sat down in the sand and patiently waited, watching Raven as he worked.

OOC: Didn't Rosh have something he she wanted to set up? Is Rosh even still here?

 

[Furioso]

Raven somehow managed to produce pudding from the camp site. He handed Flonne a bowl and spoon and called towards the ship asking if anyone else wanted some

Zack shrugged. "Something wrong with my bathing suit? I found one with a chocobo symbol on it which surprised me."

"It would seem so, but you should not be afraid. It is a gift. People from my world must rely on materia to use 'magic'." Bah, dirty word, I hate to use it.
"I think you have been quite greatly gifted. You should see yourself as blessed. I can help you to understand these powers and control them." Hojo replied.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing Raven's voice, clone Terra followed the sound and eventually reached the exit. "Facinating." she said to Zack as she walked.
[hr]
"No! I don't want your help! And I don't want this power! It's... it's... just let me go!" Terra exclaimed as she began charging a spell again, making her hand glow with a intense orange glow.

 

[Drakmorg]

Flonne happily started eating the treat that Raven had given her. She cautiously waved to clone Terra as she saw her, not having seen her since before Terra bolted from the ship earlier that day.

Etna had heard about Raven having made her favorite dessert and quickly ran over to get her some of that. Not even seeing Terra once again could dampen her spirits as she ate.

 

[Furioso]

Raven sat back and smiled "Truly I am the king of making desserts. I wish some of the older ladies would come enjoy it though..."

 

[Saltyk]

Zack went on to change his clothes back to normal.

"You can't avoid this power. It is your own. It is who you are. I want to help you control it." Hojo says with a sigh. "However, it's not like I can keep you here. If you want to go, you're free to do so. You are, quite frankly, the single most powerful thing on this planet."
I'll just keep track of you and force you to assist me when I need you...

 

[Chungus]

Clone Terra ignored both Flonne and Etna but did look at Raven. "Do you have some more of that stuff?" she asked, pointing to the pudding. She saw Bane leave the ship, but didn't really care. She was only interested in his Mako reactor.

"Finally... where is the way out then?" I'll never trust anyone. I won't! I can't!

 

[Furioso]

"Oho warming up to us now? Sure have some!" He handed a bowl of pudding to "Terra"

 

[Drakmorg]

@Raven: "Oh you silly 'old man', I'm over 1500 years old! I doubt there's any ladies here older than me!"
"She's right you know. Funnily enough, she's the older one between the two of us."

Flonne looked down at her empty bowl dejectedly, both because she was out of pudding and because 'Terra' had snubbed her. She waved at Bane, not seeming intimidated by his appearance in the slightest.

Etna just helped herself to seconds.

 

[Saltyk]

"You can't exactly just walk out. We're flying. Where would you like to go? I'll drop you off there." Hojo asked.

 

[Furioso]

OoC: @Etna, @Flonne, "Eh? But you're too short and flat to be old!"

Raven saw that Flonnes bowl was empty and filled it for her "Help yourself!" he said

OoC @Flonne: I'm guessing Jean is older then you.

"Don't get your hopes up. I'm just hungry." clone Terra said to Raven as she accepted the bowl, then walked a short distance awa from the other, sitting down on a sanddune. This beats nutrient paste, that's for sure... she thought as she ate the pudding.

Terra did answer imediately as it occured to her she knew next to nothing about Earth. Thinking back, she thought about the only place she enjoyed being in to some extend. "Just... Just take me back to where I was before..."
