The stickman woke up in a white room after fighting off the noise and getting passed the checkpoint to get to Towa Records.
"What where?" He looked around, confused as to where he'd ended up. "Hello?!"
"So you're awake... You can explain what you are doing here and why you interrupted the 'Games'?" A near omnipresent voice boomed through the space.
Joe turned around to see a vaguely humanoid being standing a short distance away from him, it looked like it was coursing with energy and was glowing a brilliant white.
"Games? I don't know what your talking about I'm just looking for everyone, have you seen a cat-person named Four, or a guy with white and black hair names Jio? I need to find them!" Joe said to the man.
"I do't know any such people but you, a non-player, have disrupted the Reaper Games and even had a hand in removing one of the Players from the Games themselves... Such actions would normally result in immediate erasing." The man said harshly.
"E-erasing!! Please don't! I didn't mean stop your games, there were just all these monsters and such! I've already been through 54 universes already looking for my friends! I'm scared of erasers, all doodles are, please don't." Seeming to come to terms that the man in front of him wasn't fooling around. The whole room just felt like an extension of the man before Joe.
"Well since this is a game for the dead, and you..." The man stopped when Joe seemed to slump over a moment.
Moments later his brain came out, which was a separate entity than Joe. "And since you are dead something right..? I'm really sorry for interrupting but I can't let him hear those words..." It said as it stood and waited for the man to continue.
"Well we can't have that now can we..." The man vaguely smirked as it looked down at the brain. "I will offer you a deal, enter the games and win to ensure your survival, or face being erased for what damage you've done..."
"We'll take the games then... what do we need?" The brain answered.
"It isn't what you need but what you'll be losing, I'll be acquiring your dimensional travelling powers. I can't let you leave without finishing correctly, and since you did manage to create a pact with Marcus, you'll have to pick up his slack. Most people don't send their partner to another universe..."
"Fine... that just means we'll have to win more than ever then... When do the next round or whatever start, and what do we need to do?" The brain asked.
"Very soon actually, but as for what..." The man smirked. "You'll have to figure that one out since you got rid of your other partner..."
The room then seemed to collapse as Joe and his brain fell into a deep sleep.
