"Hmm... I don't think that's the problem. But it doesn't really matter." Terra-2 remarked, then paused. "Anyway. I heard we're going after the one who send those clones after us?"
@Cloud: Because he has nothing better to do. He already won and will infinitely win because of that BS book of all-knowing. How are we supposed to beat that? That's my major little confusion.
The heat holds steady as she remains unresponsive. Katrina raises an eyebrow at Phoenix. "Can't say. I know so little of this girl..."
[hr]
A few more memories past as Phoenix finds herself with High Commanders.
"And this group... Company GreyFox.... You want approved?"
"Yes." Phoenix hears a voice, similar to her own, at yet so far. A flash forward and Phoenix finds herself in a military base with several other clones. After some time, a majority of the clones left and yet she remains infront of a young-ish woman, her uniform reflecting off some of the light. The light itself obscuring her face. "Something the matter my daughter?"
"I just... Want to go with you...."
"You know you can't. It's far too dangerous. And as much as I don't approve for some of their techniques... I want you all to succeed where normal people fail. Where the common person fails. War is forever a constant... But those battlefields aren't always fought with guns and tools. Sometimes... It's with the mind."
"The... mind?" The woman smiles. "One day, you'll see."
Some more memories play.....(continued on a later post)
"Yeah. It seems that I may have some history with him, if it really is who I think it is." Cloud replies. ""It seems he left some files that hinted at his intentions."
OoC: @Rosh "You don't actually think he's the main villain do you? My money is on Thanatos."
"I...don't really buy that." Jean said to Flonne, a mixture of curiosity and annoyance at being lied to driving her forward. She stepped closer to her and looked down at her with a stern expression.
"You could say that..." He said looked back at the phone for a moment. "When the robots attacked it said something along the lines of eliminate the robots, but now it's virtually blank..." Marcus said to Flonne.
"Yes. Mostly likely S stands for Sephiroth, J stands for Jenova, and L stands for Lifestream. Which only seems to confirm that Hojo is the one responsible for the clones, we saw earlier, also confirmed by the data we recovered." Cloud explained.
@Rosh: Because Joseph is incompetent? That's what I'm going with.
@Zeph: S'alright.
Flonne looked over at Marcus, leaning back slightly as Jean stood over her. "Maybe it'll fix itself when there's something you need to do?" She suggested optimistically. "W-Whuh...Um...Oh! We should get back to everyone else! They...might want to suddenly move and might leave us behind!" Flonne said to Jean, with her nervous expression.
Just a reminder
She politely tried to side-step past Jean, then hustle back to the beach.
@Cloud: I don't see a main villain than a wild goose chase of nothingness (No offensive to @Outis)
@Furioso: With everybody's input into things interacting with Nova and Phoenix... I must say that I believe its nearly time to cement her character for the thread.
@Drak: probably.
@All: Note, most of the stuff upcoming is paraphrased 'cause I'm too lazy to go back and repost them!
Phoenix gives no response. But the stick is still find. "Hmmm... Maybe its a trance-state she put herself in?" Katrina threw a question in the air.
[hr]
The experiments done on Nova, and the experiments done on Phoenix. All the same run testing. They never saw her as another human being, but machine to go through trial and error. Electrodes, prods, anything to stimulate any sense of feeling and emotion to create a human that can survive through all pains: To numb out emotions as well.
Phoenix finds herself curled up into ball gazing into an abyss.
Your nothing more than a doll... A tool to be used then discarded away.... Replacable. Expendable... Weakling... Who am I... What am I...
.

.
. ...Does it really matter? It shouldn't matter Phoenix! You shouldn't worry about being 'human' or not!... Phoenix.... A fire starts with you... Those wings should serve as a reminder.... Do you swear upon this symbol?.. We'll just rely on each other...
Jean easily caught up with Flonne and cut her off. "That can wait. Look, if it's a secret or something you are trying to keep, that's fine. You don't even have to tell me, but I don't like being lied to. I'd like an apology." Jean said with arms folded over her chest.
OOC: I greatly enjoy reading about your theories by the way.
Well this is a lot more boring than I'd hoped. Etna got up and stretched from her hiding spot behind the bush, then just strolled into the ship.

Flonne backed up from Jean a few steps and sighed, her ribbon-ears seeming to droop. "I'm sorry for lying to you Miss Jean, but it is a secret...and I promised to not tell anyone about it. So I can't." She said with a polite bow. Then she heard Marcus and sighed again, as there was no way she could pick up a fully grown man, much less two.
"Yeah. I think there was some mention on Mako reactors and an airship. Though, I didn't see any blueprints. Just some information about it's production. And apparently, it is staffed by clones, as well. And has... A Mako cannon. Which could be a very very bad thing." Cloud replies.
