Marcus ducks his head again as a small chunks of rock get blasted from the stone that he was behind. "Where's something... big..." He noticed the damaged cart not to far from him, although beat up it still looked like it had some decent weight to it. He 'tugged' it at one of the advancing dark elements with decent momentum, the pin would still hit a ghost since that's really what Marcus was, even if the elements were ethereal they'd still be hit.
From the hints and map in game. It's a bunch of ruins of an old castle fortress (Paladins) and encampments everywhere. This happened decades ago and only recently has the land become less tainted enough to support life here and there. Think... Bombed out Berlin during WWII for the fortress and WWI No-man's land for everywhere else. That's the best way I would describe it.
Raven kills 3 Alchemists, as the last one nearly got hit by the arrows.
Etna obviously killed the 2 Berzerkers, but it seems that the remaining didn't take it so kindly to see their brethren fall. Flonne and Marcus' combine help killed the remaining Darkness Elementals and the last Alchemist and 1 Berzerker,
The four remaining charged at everybody (1 for 1) and swung their axes, allowing them for a double hit each.

Marcus stood still for a second as the flame shield came over him warding the blade away, but it would only hold for few seconds. This gave him the brief moment to look and see some of the remaining castle masonry. With the next swing of the berserker's axe, Marcus dropped the barrier right after the attack struck. As the berserker was getting ready to swing again, Marcus tugged three of the large slabs of stone from the castle and dived out of the way, making them smash into the Berserker.
Marcus got up and made some ground away from the berserker, he didn't look at his pins, but both had grown dim for the moment.

"...Kinda. I know of it, but never...felt it myself..." Jean said, growing sad and uncomfortable with the subject.
The berserker's first strike against Etna hit, biting into her arm. She groaned in pain and frustration as she turned around quickly and swung her axe at the berkserker, causing it's second strike to harmlessly pass by her as she spun.
Flonne wasn't much for close combat, so when an angry skeleton ran at her she panicked and tried to run down the hill. She tripped over her own feet and wound up rolling head-first downhill away from the berserker.

"...Okay... I just wanted to know, sorry for bringing it up." Phoenix said, pulling her hand back from rubbing Jean's ears.

Marcus can see something shiny around the crumbled ruins of the Paladin Fortress.

Raven turned to see Flonne in danger. With an incredible burst of speed he charged at the skeleton, firing 2 arrows before leaping at it to try and knock it out of the way. A feint red glow could be seen under his shirt if anyone took the time to look

Marcus turned back to see that the berserker wasn't getting up. '[sub]Huh... huh... serves you right...[/sub]" he gasped a little. He looked around to try and get his bearings when he saw the shiny light. He might have gone to go see what it was but after seeing all the other stuff, he decided getting Flonne, which would be better since she seemed to know a bit more about this weird place.
He doubled back to go find where the others were. "Hey! I think I found something!!"

Flonne shrieked and tried to roll away again, it being the only thing she could really do at this point. The skeleton's axe came down very close, cutting a small gash into her face as she just barely managed to get out of the way in time to avoid her head getting cleaved in two.

Phoenix's mood fell asleep as she curled up to Jean. "[sub]I'm sorry...[/sub]" she mumbled before falling asleep herself.
I wonder child if they will succeed...They will...[sub]Finally... coming back strong...[/sub]

Marcus found... a shard of the shoulder guards of a Paladin. It was giving off some emotions around it: Happiness, hope, confidence, and compassion. Maybe there's more of them around.
