Hans's shoulders unhitched, relaxing to his usual posture. He turned to Victoria. "Permission to commence maintenance on weapon?" he asked, his voice taking on a strangely nervous tone.

Sergeant unfamiliar with Imperial ruleset, possible will allow disassembly of lasgun. Lasgun examination, heretical. Examination also valuable. Risks minimal. Do not fear commissar here. Take chance. Increase efficent repairs and use. Not curiosity of inner workings, no, is truth.

Stanley looked at Hans, and sat next to it, taking out some random thing from his pack and examining it.

 

[Slenn]

"It's the Victorian Era. It's named after a former queen of a place called England on Earth."

 

[Demonjazz]

"I guess that makes sense, But why couldn't you just wear some full body armour?... So you named your planet after what it's made of?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Important to look after your animals..." Samus said, trailing off a little bit at the end.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, but that stuff looks so thin that you're still gonna feel whatever hits ya. You might wanna consider something with some more shock absorption. Assuming you don't have some magic or mods that already do that, anyway."

Victoria replied to EMily. She glanced back over at Hans when he spoke up.

"Yeah, sure. Don't have to ask me."

Hearing Navi, her ears perked up a bit more.

"What're you even talking about? Nobody's named anything after me."

 

[Slenn]

She turned to Navi.
"Like I said this isn't the only thing I have in stock. I just prefer to wear a dress most of the time." She shrugged. "Plus it works like armor. And I've modified the skirt to act as an electric capacitor to store additional electric charge. The EM in my name stands for electromagnetism, so my power, is just that."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Well apparently there's a Victorian era though." She said to Victoria
Navi noticed Samus trailing off. "... What you thinking about?"

 

[Slenn]

"When bullets come in contact, the high pressure from it that would normally puncture through skin stiffens the fabric as a response. This is a property of the neocarbon fibers, making it hard to puncture. So the machines that construct the dress have to be careful to go through the threads. Special ops soldiers in my time wear skin-tight armor that functions in the same way. When I'm at higher energies, as opposed to what you saw just a few hours ago, I can create shields from manipulating the air molecules around me with electric fields."

 

[FPSfanatic]

Stanley would pull out a strange little box, similar to the one connected to Hans's mask. Examination would reveal a small port to connect the gas mask's hose.

Hans nodded, and turned to his pack. Seeing Stanley holding the box, his mind took a second to process what was occuring.

His next action was to snarl, and leap forward, aiming to stab the thief with a blade that came all too easily from his belt.

thiefs steal morale with every posession they steal. They take survival, along with trust and strength. A thief earns death, delivered by a firing squad. I will suffice.

"Nothing." Samus said.

The police officer attempted to hold Hans back, and yelled something in Japanese. Another officer came into the room and tried to take the box from Stanley, before moving him away from Hans.

Roffe didn't seem all that concerned for Stanly's well being as he didn't stop shuffling his cards or whistling.

Seras, however, stood up suddenly and waited to see what would happen with Stanly and Hans.

As soon as Hans got out his knife he leaped up and drawn his own weapons and went in front of Stanley holding up his shield so that Hans could not strike him.

 

[Slenn]

EMily felt tension rise in the air as a small conflict and rose up.

"Hey! Let's not recreate what happened a few hours ago. We already have one event to explain to the police, we don't need another."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Just because it's bullet-proof doesn't mean it still isn't gonna hurt when you get hit by 'em. And that's from personal experience. That shield thing sounds impressive though. Never seen anyone do that themselves."

She uncrossed her arms and quickly stood back up as she spotted the scuffle going on. Oh great, more stuff like this again... Since there were already a large number of people crowding together, Victoria stood back for the moment.

Samus stood, armour materialising in a gold flash, arm cannon ready but not raised to fight.

Hans shook, but was immobilised by the officer. He pulled helplessly against the man holding him, grunting and snorting. His mask, previously hissing slowly from his breathing, it now rang out quickly, sounding almost unending with his breathing.

"YOU- YOU, YOU- STEAL- HERESY. YOU- YOU NEVER! Ever! Go near that bag! That- that was-"

Hans went suddenly slack, his breathing ragged, his arms limp. He dropped his knife, and his masked face focused on the ground.

[sub]Don't steal. Never, ever steal. You go in the firing squad, friends kill you, because you'd kill them. You'd live with me dead, because you stole. You don't care. You don't.[/sub]

His voice was now child like, though it was still filled with anger.
