Maasai Mara, Kenya - 13:00PM
After twenty minutes of flying, the bug could see the general area was heading for in the distance to its far left. Changing direction to head to it, the bug decided to move the rest of the way on foot to reduce the chances of being spotted. Descending and touching down on the ground, the bug kept itself low to the ground, skulking through the grasses as it wandered seemingly aimlessly around the Mara Serana airstrip.
Although keeping its body low, it kept its head high as it listened for the noise of jeep engine and sniffed the air for traces of exhaust fumes. It took a while, but eventually it found a trail, caried to it on the winds, and began following it, the scent getting stronger as it went. Once it began hearing the hum of the engine, the bug stopped to retrieve its rifle from its bag, and upon noting the engine hum became louder, stayed in place, hiding in the grasses to the side of the dirt road, wile looking in the direction the sound and smell came from.
Seeing the jeep arive, but having a less then optimal line of sight, the bug took aim, poking the barrel through the grasses, and waited to get a clearer shot. As the jeep approached the bug's position further, the bug saw four park ranger in the jeep, presumably on patrol. Adjusting its aim to line up the ranger in the passenger and driver's seat, intending to take kill both in a single shot, and fired. Unfortunately for the bug, it was a little too ambitious, and ended up only alerting the rangers as the shot missed. Clacking its mandibles, the bug adjusted its aim again after calculating where the driver would be in three seconds, the bug loaded the next round and fired. Bood spraying over the window to the driver's side told the bug its second shot hadn't missed.
