"What's going on right now Sara?" Winona came into the time-machine room, with a juice box in hand. She tried to take a peak over what Sara was watching.
"Absolutely nothing that involves punching cats." She lied, jokingly, "And for the record, EMily's not the one punching cats."

Ross groaned, but still looked physically fine. Sara, however, would see that Ross looked pretty hurt. [color=a52a2a]"Are you going to take me in, or just keep hitting me?"[/color] he asked.
You slowly get up, grunting. In the last hail of bullets, one had hit your left arm and two had bounced off your armour-vest. Needless to say you are in a particularly foul mood as you limp towards the sleeping foe who caused you so much harm, cursing the two bullets in your right leg.
Sophia grimaced at the ringing in her ears, having taken out the ear plug after the explosion she wasn't expecting more gunfire. 'That's what I get for boosting my senses to see them I guess...' Sophia winced, taking the time again to stick the earplug back in.

Not finding a place where it could ambush the approaching ranger from, the bug quickly dug a relatively small tunnel. Turning around, the bug entered the tunnel rear end first, and waited. The ranger called out to the one the bug had snatched, at first still casually, but then growing more alarmed as there came no response.
Using sound and smell to estimate where the ranger was in relation to its tunnel, the bug guessed the ranger was near it and carefully peeked its head out to be sure. Finding it was the case, the bug waited for a moment longer, then moved out of the tunnel by two paces, and lunged at the ranger. Landing with its forelegs on the rangers shoulders, the bug bit at the ranger's head with its powerful maw, fragmenting the upper jaw, and tearing off the lower jaw and a piece of the windpipe.
With the ranger being put in a position where he couldn't make any noise, the bug swallowed the bits it had bitten off, then shoved his body in the tunnel it had dug. It listened for a moment if any more rangers were approaching, then began closing the tunnel when it found this wasn't the case. After the tunnel was closed, the bug covered what blood had fallen on the ground with sand, and scurried back into the foliage.

Ronin woke back up. She realized she was probably beaten, so she threw her gun and sword away and shouted "Yield! I give up!"
Ross let Victoria drag him, and looked at Samus. [color=a52a2a]"Out of curiosity, what would I have needed to bribe you?"[/color] he asked.
You stop when you see that Ronin has decided to give up. You glare at her, grimacing from the pain, and fire a single medium-power shot at her chest. Once the deed is done, you lower your blaster and sway a little as the rush of adrenaline disappears and the continuing blood loss makes itself known. Your vision blurs as you stagger back towards your ship, and you drop down to your knees as your mind feels more and more numb. Finally, you unceremoniously fall forwards as everything goes black.
