Deciding to ildulge its curiousity, bug spend its time wandering and exploring to kill time, abstaining form devouring anything Moving along the Mara river, the bug approached it and looked down, not needing to lower it head to do so due to its 360. degree vision. While looking at the water flowing, it occured to the bug that although it knew what water was, it didn't quite know how it tastes. Opening its mandibles, it licked up some water with its lengthy tongue. Moving what water it labbed up around in its mouth, the bug found it to be entirely bland and spat it back out, then moved on.
Deciding to head back to the Mara conservancy to see if the rangers had stopped hiding away yet. After a little while, it moved back into the foliage surrounding the conservancy from the south-east. Climbing into one of the trees, the bug found that against its hopes, the rangers hadn't left either building they were biding their time in. Snorting, the bug took out its first rifle out of its bag, then secured the bag to the branch it was sitting on with a thread of webbing. It looked if anyone was looking out of the U-shaped building its windows, and glided down into the main compound when it found that wasn't the case.
Since this was the conservancy's HQ, they had to have fuel stored away, the bug figured. Moving around while being weary of someone possibly looking outside, the bug began entering nearby buildings and looking around in them. Where it found blue objects, the bug was tempted to take them, but resisted, knowing it had better things to do. Entering one building, the bug found a radio that was turned on and broadcasting the national afternoon news. Not finding what it was looking for,the bug turned around and mentioning both international affairs, and national ones, specifically the appearance of the interdimensional bounty shops appearing all over the country. The bug paid some attention to the reports, before moving on.
Poking its head out of the door opening, but didn't leave as it saw a ranger looking out of a window. Snorting a little, the bug took aim and shot the ranger, a bloodstain on the wall opposite the ranger confirming the bug had hit him. It waited a little longer to see if anyone else would show their face, and moved on when it saw this wasn't the case.
