While it waited for the students to leave the university building, the bug mainly occupied itself by practicing the reloading of its rifle, not wanting to have another case of targets escaping because it was too slow in doing so. When it got bored of this, the bug occupied itself by looking at its collection of random blue items.
When it smelled the people leaving, however, it stowed its rifle back into its bag, and moved towards the exit of its tunnel, where it moved its eye to the hole to look at how many people were moving about.
EMily picked up something on the radio. She and Gwen went to see Victoria.
"I've found something."

"Mistral here. We are approaching the Abkhazia coast as I speak. There's no sign of meaningful resistance. Pity."
"Useful though. Move in and take the refinery. " Sundowners voice.
"Do I have to take the mutt and the imbécile too?"
"Bladewolf and Khamsin will keep the locals busy while we move in the troops."

Mr Bug would see quite a few people moving around, mostly in groups of three or four. Some were going into the buildings while others left.

Looking over the group of people, the bug kept its eye on those it overheard speaking earlier, although not having as far a field of vision as usual on account of having only a relatively small peekhole to look through. With there being too many people moving about for it to ambush any of its possible targets, it stayed put for the moment and kept watch.
Victoria had taken to slowly banging her head against the wall to pass the time for around the last hour or so. She perked up and looked over at EMily when she spoke, a big red mark sitting on her forehead from what she had been doing.

Finding its marks to be on the move, the bug backed away and collapsed the northen entrance of its tunnel. Moving backwards and turning around, the bug picked up its bag, then left through the southern exit, collapsing that tunnel as well. Knowing it would be a long time until nightfall, and not wanting to wait all that time while following its mark, the bug devised a plan.
Moving behind the building, the bug waited until its mark had entered the other building, and until the coat was clear, then sprinted towards the other building, although it didn't approach its front door or any windows, instead stopping at the corner.
There, it hung the bag from its tail and dug a tunnel downwards, again using both its hands and forelegs. Once it went deep enough, it covered the entance up a little and continued digging. Still being able to navigate well enough underground, the bug began digging towards the front door of the building its mark entered, then began digging a steep tunnel downwards and away from the door. Once it dug deep enough, the bug moved back, and made a small opening to the surface.
With this done, the bug began slowly widening the would-be entrance to the tunnel, spinning webbing near the surface to make a trap door, covered by the layer of soil. With its trap in place, the bug spun webbing to its trap door to alow it to open it once it smelled its mark again, then laid in wait, feeling for vibrations when people moved over the trap door, and smelling for the scent of its mark.
