Gwen generated a gravity field worth 4 g's against the robot, attempting to slow him down.

EMily couldn't do much for now, since she wasn't at the point of delivering an industrial laser. She tried burning the chaff by microwaving the air between her and the robot. She extended her hands outward, palms up, to deliver the EM waves.

OOC: Ever seen steel wool in a microwave?

Joel tossed away his bag and removed his jacket and shirt while he waited for the robot to make its move. When Bladewolf charged at him, Joel activated his HF blade and lowered his centre of gravity. Joel responded to the attack by swinging the sword at Bladewolf's head once it was within range.
Meanwhile, Riko continued playing her bass, forming green wisps. She sent them at Joel, which would give him a speed boost.

Mr Bug hit Jona on the back of the leg, causing him to lose his balance for a second. Jona slowly turned to the bug's new position, and fire began swirling around his arms. [color=ce2029]"Come out a fight properly! This is getting boring."[/color] Jona yelled, sounding more like a child being told to come home than a serial arsonist.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Gwen's gravity field slowed it, but not by much. It used its chainsaw to parry Joel's slash, but the chaff Emily microwaved fizzled and popped in the air like a giant firecracker, knocking Bladewolf off course. It landed, then did a huge horizontal sweeping slice with the chainsaw.

3 turns until chaff clears.

[Wackymon]

Medic ran behind a pillar, and fired at the beast again, trying his best to aim for the eye-like apparatus.

Engineer ran behind the nearest piece of cover, and began to fiddle with his wrench, trying to see if he could upgrade it to act like one of the swords using the scrap from the giant cow-bots.

The sectoid simply shot at it's tail, it's previous encounter with a similar thing showing him it's major attack is with a tail.

Sophia stared at Medic as he went to go do his thing, basically wondering where that complete 180 in character came from. 'I don't have time for this now!' She said as she kept her eyes on the doge. 'I gotta get to Tavish.'

She then tried to head towards the fallen man, generating a small orb of chocolate as she went, being very mindful of where the doge decided to go.

 

[Chungus]

Having learned from its past mistake, the big didn't imediately move after seing Jona turn, instead waiting for him to throw fireballs. When it found this didn't happen, the bug lowered itself to a prowl, and began moving to the edge of the rooftop, jumping from the rooftop once it reached it. On the ground, the bug looked around for another stone to toss, but couldn't find anything suitable, only seeing pebbles that were too small. Instead, it moved back to the building it had left its bag on.

Roland kept his distance from Bladewolf and shot at its eyes.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus jumped over the chainsaw tail. With her gun non-functional, her only option was to avoid Bladewolf until the chaff cleared up.

Bladewolf jumped onto one of the pillars, Roland and Medic's projectiles missing their mark and bouncing off his armour and the tail coiling to dodge the Sectoid's plasma shots. It jumped off the pillar, claws outstretched, towards Sophia.

Engineer would find the procedure too long and difficult to perform on a battlefield.

Group one.

 

[Wackymon]

Engineer grumbled, as he charged out and shot the large thing with the rescue ranger, the large mass hopefully knocking him off-course.

Medic charged at the large beast.

 

[Slenn]

EMily used the chaff against the robot again by microwaving it in his path to make a flame that would blind and burn. Gwen would then push him out of the way of Sophia with an 8g gravity push.

Joel charged at Bladewolf, intending to tackle it before it hit Sophia, using his boosted speed to his advantage. Riko also moved towards Sophia, now holding her bass like an axe, and prepared to swing at Bladewolf's head if Joel didn't manage to stop the robot's attack.

Jona looked around for the bug, expecting another stone. When nothing came, he sighed and ran inside the building he was on top of. The bug would see bright flashes of light from inside the building, followed by flames bursting out of the windows.

EMily and Gwen's attacks slammed into Bladewolf, knocking him off course and into Joel sideways. THe robot recovered, jumping back and activating its stealth camo, turning invisible.

1 turn until Chaff clears.
Group Two.

 

[Wackymon]

Engineer pulled out a pistol, and began to fire everywhere.

"If anyvun has a fire attack, you vill vant to use it!" he shouted, grabbing Demoman's sword and charging around, flailing it uncoordinatedly away from Demoman.

The sectoid went into overwatch, preparing to fire when the bladewolf moved.

 

[Chungus]

Reaching the building it had left its bag on, the bug climbed ontop of the wall, and approached it. Opening it, the bug pulled out the Savage M10, then looked to the building Jona was on when it noticed the flames bursting from the windows. Not wanting to approach the flaming building just yet, it looked towards the windows, trying to look inside through the flames. While doing so, it wondered how it was Jona wasn't burning himself, figuring he must have went inside for the building to blow like it did.

Since shooting the eye had little effect, Roland instead tried to shoot Bladewolf's tail. His bullets would hammer the same spot near the base of the tail unless a clear shot was not possible.

 

[Zepherus14]

Sophia screamed loudly as she twisted on her heel, seeing the doge heading for her. She didn't register that EMily, Gwen or Joel were mere moments from protecting her, the sight of the doge heading directly for her after it had already jumped across those two pillars.

She pointed her arm with the orb away from Tavish and Bladework as she fired off a jet, launching her away from where Bladework was going to land. Tumbling against the ground, she manage to get to her feet again looking around wildly, trying to hear where the wolf was. "W-Where'd it go?!" Still a fair distance from Tavish as she got up onto her feet, forming another orb, in her panic overshooting Tavish's general location by a large margin.

She however started going back towards Tavish.

Samus looked around as the wolf vanished, listening for footsteps, claws, whining motors... anything.

Roland would not get a clear shot, what with Bladewolf being invisible.

The chaff finally cleared up, and if EMily was still feeling around for electronics, she'd feel something behind her. That split second was the only warning she got before the Bladewolf appeared behind her, thrusting it's chainsaw to put it through her back.

Chaff is clear, electronics work again.
Group one.

 

[Wackymon]

Engineer watched as his teleporter booted up, and as his sentry gun began to unfold, running up to it to help it build.

When the bladewolf became visible, the sectoid turned to it and fired.

When Bladewolf was knocked into him, Joel quickly wrapped his right arm around the robot to hold it in place. When Bladewolf went invisible, Joel began heating up the area in front of his body, where the robot would be, and started stabbing the air with his sword.
If Bladewolf managed to free itself, Joel would simply swing his sword through the air around himself, taking care not to hit the others.

 

[Slenn]

Gwen had been feeling around for the mass of the robo-wolf ever since it cloaked. She was already well aware of the position of it and ducked EMily with a gravity boost in the nick of time.

EMily could finally fire something significant after building up so much energy. Once she ducked down to the ground, she aimed in the direction of the robo-wolf and delivered a whopping EMP to the face of the beast.

Gwen delivered crushing gravity wells around the robot's legs to hold it in place and damage it.
