We Are Our Avatars IX: Act V: The Sabotage of the Scandolous Saurian Scoundrels (Open)

[Wackymon]

A helicopter flies over the hospital.

Shara would see a teleporter outside the hospital when she left, along with Engineer teleporting through.

Stands around, idly experimenting on a vial of blood.
"No corpse, no head, nothing, vhat do zhey expect me to do vit zhis..."

There's a helicopter on a nearby roof, along with a smiling man near the perimeter.

Medic eventually ends up next to Shara, waving at her.

As Shara and the sisters closed in on the crash site, they saw a barricade erected, with patrolling police and emergency workers. Beyond the barricade were the remains of the Ray and the Sworder IV. The Ray's torso was crushed under the Sworder like it was a cartoon anvil, and both mech and ship were heavily damaged. Emergency workers, engineers and architects scuttled over the conjoined wreck like termites, examining them and occasionally taking a bit of scrap for analysis.

You greet the Engineeer as he teleports through, but keep going to your ship. When you come into sight of it, you fall down on your knees, for it is far worse than you imagined. You get back up and hurry towards the barricade, pushing past it with your eyes squarely set on the wreck that took you so far.

Shara pushed past the barricade roughly, too fast for the police to stop her. Now she was closer, she could see the damage in full. The underside of the ship, save the cockpit, was nearly sheared off. One of the lower engines was damaged, and another had been utterly destroyed.

Joel finished blowing sand and dust out of his arm, then began reattaching it to his shoulder.

 

[Kirke]

You feel tears welling up in your eyes and you slow down as you see the full extent of the damage. After a moment of stunned shock, you run up and climb the wrecks.

Not wanting to just lay around the entire time she was waiting for the others to return, Vicky began wandering around Dace's ship.

"Must be a pain having to clean that thing out."

She commented to Joel as she walked past where he was set up. Since the space-ship wasn't terribly big, it didn't take her long to get bored of looking around and stopping near where Sophia had been napping.

Climbing up the wreck was difficult, but doable. There was the occasional spark or pointy bit, however. The ships door was open, allowing Shara access inside.

I decide to go over to my car and make sure it's still okay. I've still got a lot of affection for this old thing.

Sophia for a while would be sleeping rather soundly, not really doing much than just breathing softly. Eventually though her eyes would start twitching a little like she was dreaming, she might also take note that Sophia's glasses she was still wearing didn't seem to have any arms to hold them to her face. Soon after however she started mumbling something. "[small]Mmm... G-get back...[/small]" Her head moving back abruptly as her eyes slowly opened, looking really drowsy.

Edit: Not much to do with Medic, so...

He looked over to Sophia, "Ah, how is ze Ms Sophia doing?" he asked, "By ze sound uf eet, you are getting nightmares."[hr]The Smiling Man slowly walked up to one of site managers.
"Pardon me, sir, I would like to buy this wreckage." he said.

 

[Kirke]

You step into your ship with a heavy breath, and you sit down in the pilot's seat. The computer is barely functional, but after a few minutes you manage to get a solid readout on system damage. You look over the long list and wonder if it is even possible to get the ship back in working order.

"What..?" Sophia said as she slowly propped herself up more, bringing up a hand to rub her eyes only for it to bump into her glasses. Realizing she still had them on she took them off and rubbed her eyes. "Did we land al-?" She started to say before pinching her nose, looking like she'd almost been slapped in the face with it. "What is that smell?!" She retorted, noticing the rather fowl smell of buglet giblets, burned things, and more radioactive stuff.

"Sure am glad I don't have to worry about that."

Vicky said to Joel. She glanced down at Sophia as she was sleeping and thought, Goddamn... Those fucking tiny little glasses are adorable... When Sophia woke up, Vicky's head snapped back up and she took a step away to the side.

"Huh? Oh, that might be me. Smell might have gotten caught in my shirt."

She pulled her collar up to her nose to smell and see if that was the case.

 

[Wackymon]

"Oh, zhat vould be most of us. Ve helped save ze lady piolet from being killed by a bug. I didn't get it'z corpse, zho." he said idly.

 

[Zepherus14]

"I guess we could all use a bit of a shower after all that." Sophia said sounding more awake now, the smell doing a good job to get her alert. "So we're going to go find Sh-" Sophia again started to say until she got a better look at Victoria. "W-why aren't you wearing your pants?!"

 

[Outisakanobody]

"You wanna wear my coat for a while?" I ask the cat lady.

 

[Drakmorg]

"I loaned 'em to Shara so she could leave and get her stuff without people getting too worked up."

Vicky calmly answered. She shrugged at X-9 and replied,

"If it's making people uncomfortable."

"I figured you might be uncomfortable. Humans usually get that way about clothing."
