"I'm not hurt. Just...hungry..." Seras said, dreading having to talk about her affliction to more people.

The sisters went into the room following Shara, gathering the environs onto Gwen's computer.

"There's cameras here. Should I give them an EMP?"

[color=01A9DB]"Cameras? What are those?"[/color] Roland asked EMily. [color=01A9DB]"Or an E-empty?"[/color]

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Joel pointed at one of the security cameras. [color=003399]"Those things. They let people somewhere else in the building see us. An EMP is a thing that stops electronic stuff like cameras from working."[/color] he explained, before looking over at EMily and saying, [color=003399]"Go ahead. I hate security cameras. Plus, we shouldn't let them know what we're doing next."[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus walked up with the others, looking at the elevator.

 

[Slenn]

"Pretty much what Joel said. These cyborg guys don't like them."

EMily took aim, extending her right palm, and fired a moderate EMP at the security cam.

 

[Kirke]

You look up and see the camera, cursing to yourself that you missed it before. As EMily deals with it, you walk over to the other elevator and check which floors it goes to.

[color=01A9DB]"Hmm. So they already know that we're here. Where are they?"[/color]

The elevator had a separate panel, with a few buttons marked "PRIVATE SECTOR". They seemed to be the lower levels of the upper sector.

You turn to the others and say that the elevator seems to go up near the top.

[color=003399]"They're probably on their way."[/color] Joel said to Roland.

{X=9 follows everyone and stuff.]

[color=01A9DB]"That is where we need to go. Let's move."[/color] Roland replied to Shara. He walked up to the elevator door, then looked back and forth between the control panel and the door a few times as if he was unsure of what to do. [color=01A9DB]"How are these elevators operated?"[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus pressed the highest button available when everyone piled in. After a few minutes of being assaulted by elevator music, the doors opened, revealing a cyborg walking past the door with a rocket launcher. He turned his head slightly, seeing the group and trying to bring his rocket to bear, but Samus gunned him down before he could bring it up. She stepped out of the elevator, stepping into a metal hallway that looked similar to one from an ocean liner.

 

[Slenn]

"Let's keep moving." EMily said, moving out of the elevator.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Emily would detect a large amount of wiring in the walls, and there was a camera in the corner. There were also a couple of large crates, and a few doors on one side.

 

[Slenn]

OOC: @Gear. Are the walls metal or conductive?

"It would seem that the walls have something inside it that's giving off electrical signals." She turned her head towards the object in the corner. "Camera." She said, aiming her palm like before and firing an EMP at the device.

 

[Kirke]

You nod and step out, staying close to one wall. You consider how durable some of the foes you've met have been and decide to up your armament. You grab the rocker launcher and a bandoleer of rockets from the dead cyborg, slinging it over your shoulder as you follow the others.

OOC: @MetalGearhead_mk2, Food for thought: Metals tend to obscure or distort EM fields because they conduct electricity and will absorb EM signals. This is why radios and cell phones don't transmit or receive anything when encased in metal. This is also why I gave EMily the ability to distinguish between conductors and insulators because both respond differently to EM fields.

"It's hard to get a fix as to what exactly is happening. Only the cracks in the metal are indicating something electrical is behind it."
