Samus also jumped out of the mecha, landing on the ground after a flip. One could almost see someone holding up a scorecard to rate it.
Eventually, an orb rose out of the top up the mech. It opened up, revealing itself to be a control pod, with Armstrong stepping out of it. "I don't have time for this." he growled, then raised one leg in the air like a sumo wrestler. He stomped it back down with a warrior's scream, and what was left of the mech jerked and started to glow with green energy, cables flying out of the scrapheap. Armstrong absorbed the energy, screaming all the while, until it made a huge shockwave. The mech's stiff legs gave out, bringing it crashing to the ground. Samus ran out from underneath it as fast as she could, dragging Seras along with her if she had to, and just cleared the mech before it hit the dirt. The top of the mech was covered in dust and smoke, making seeing Armstrong impossible.
